Sentenced: Darrell Burnside Murdered His Mistress Who Allegedly Helped Him Kill His Wife

A Mississippi man has been arrested and charged with capital murder in the stabbing death of his girlfriend.

Darrell Burnside, 49, was arrested Wednesday for the murder of his mistress Ashley George, 25, in April.

George's body was found in a park in Clear Lake, Texas, near her abandoned car.

Both Burnside and George were the prime suspects in the murder of Burnside's wife Carol back in January.

Carol Burnside, 47, was found dead in their Mississippi home and police believed there to be foul play.

Harris County Sheriff's Office said George allegedly took part in that murder.

It's unclear what charges he faces in his wife's case.

Burnside is currently being held in custody.

One day after Carol was found dead in January, her husband spoke to WTOK, saying: 'The world is not going to be the same without her.'

'If you were a part of the community, if you were a part of the family, if you were a part of the church, if you were a part of her life, you felt her love,' Burnside said of his wife.

I can speak from experience on this type of thing. Having a sidepiece ceases to be any fun at all when said sidepiece becomes or tries to become something more significant. The asspain of having one starting to get uppity is nightmarish enough under normal circumstances, i cant imagine the hassle and nutter bitchery if threats of turning witness for the prosecution over a murder you committed is added to the table.
