In disturbing detail, Candie Dominguez calmly described how she cut up the body of her cousin and cooked him on a barbecue grill after her boyfriend killed the victim.

"I cut it up in pieces," Dominguez said.

She said she lured her cousin Jose Luis “Pee Wee” Menchaca, 35, to her home in September 2014 at the urging of her boyfriend.

He was to be killed, she testified, as revenge for an attack on her boyfriend following a drug deal gone bad.

Once at her home, she said two men attacked her cousin with baseball bats.

"They just beat him. He tried to talk at first and then he just didn't talk no more. He was trying to use his hands to help himself, but no," Dominguez said.

Dominguez testified as part of a plea deal, getting a maximum of 30 years in exchange for her testimony.

Her boyfriend has been tried, convicted and is serving a life-prison term for his role in the murder.

jurors heard testimony Friday in the murder trial of the first of three defendants linked to a 2014 case in which authorities say the victim's limbs were burned on a barbecue pit.

Gabriel Moreno, 34, is the first defendant being tried in the case, the San Antonio Express-News reported. Co-defendants Daniel Moreno Lopez, 31, who is Moreno's cousin, and Lopez’s girlfriend Candie Dominguez, 38, are also charged with murder and awaiting trial, the report said.

They are accused of killing Jose Luis Menchaca, 35, who authorities say was beaten with aluminum baseball bats, suffocated with a plastic bag over his head, then dismembered and barbecued.

At one point, witness Dennis Austin testified, he saw Menchaca’s torso, with arms and legs missing, inside a blue plastic tub, with a plastic bag around the head that “held it in place.”

“We saw the torso, head still attached, but detached, like a bobblehead,” he said. “I will never forget that smell. It smelled worse than decayed animal.”

Austin said he saw blood on the walls and couch of a San Antonio home that Lopez and Dominguez shared, while the victim was bound at his hands and feet, with his mouth taped, the report said.

“He (Menchaca) was bleeding from the cheeks, there was blood everywhere on him,” Austin said. “It was like a horror movie.”

Candie Dominguez, 39, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for severing the limbs of her cousin, who was beaten and dismembered before his remains were burned on a barbecue pit.

At a hearing on Monday, Dominguez told the court: 'At this time I do not feel remorse, I feel nothing but anger.

I’m sorry he lost his life, yes, but we cannot change things. I accept things for what they are, and look forward.'

When Jimenez asked her if she ever felt emotion for her crime, Dominguez replied: 'No, I don’t.

'The way I grew up, the way my life was, I didn’t show emotion. I never have. With everything I have gone through, emotions are useless.'

Dominguez's then-boyfriend, Daniel Moreno Lopez, was also was convicted in the killing last June and was sentenced to life in prison.

Lopez's cousin, Gabriel Moreno, was acquitted during a retrial in December after a previous trial ended with the jury deadlocked.

WTF? From the sentencing hearing for Lopez.

A San Antonio man convicted of murder in the beating death, dismemberment and incineration of his girlfriend’s cousin killed his previous girlfriend earlier, chopping up and setting her remains on fire in a barbecue grill, too, a witness testified Wednesday.
The testimony against Daniel Moreno Lopez, 32, came in a tense courtroom at the start of his sentencing hearing. Surrounded by armed deputies just inches away from him, with two officers in tactical gear armed with rifles nearby, Lopez could be seen laughing at times.

How the fuck did this other dude get away with it?

"After Rangel read the jurors’ verdict in June, Lopez erupted in anger and had to be forcibly removed from the courtroom. A bailiff had to get between him and his defense attorney, J. Charles Bunk, after Lopez tried to punch Bunk.
As the courtroom erupted in chaos at the time, Lopez’s mother collapsed in heavy sobs in the hallway in front of the courtroom and ran screaming down the hall."

This sounds fucking hilarious. I love watching the trash family members of criminal stains cry out in pain, fucking scum. Wis hthere was footage of it.

A San Antonio man who in December was found not guilty in a brutal baseball bat slaying was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a woman and then pulled a gun on her.

Gabriel Moreno now faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a firearm and theft of a firearm. He was booked into the Bexar County Jail on a $1 million bond.

According to police, the San Antonio Police Department's Street Crimes Unit, Special Victims Unit, SWAT, Repeat Offenders Program and a helicopter unit were involved in capturing Moreno.

Last year, a Bexar County jury surprisingly found the 37-year-old not guilty in the brutal murder of his heroin-dealing rival.

It was the second trial for the 2014 killing of Jose Luis "PeeWee" Menchaca, whom prosecutors allege was murdered in retaliation for Menchaca stabbing Moreno's cousin and alleged accomplice, Daniel Moreno Lopez, in the back over a botched drug deal.

Lopez was convicted in Menchaca's horrific murder last summer. Lopez beat Menchaca with a baseball bat, suffocated him and then dismembered him with the help of his girlfriend, Candie Dominguez. Lopez was sentenced to life in prison and Dominguez got 30 years.
