That look on his face kills me. It's exactly the one my mom used to get when she froze after her disease progressed. There's nothing satisfying or mockable about this whatsoever.
My guess? Parkinsons. It generally does NOT effect the mind, but is a dreadful condition that does cause gait problems and freezing.
He absolutely should be allowed to serve his term until 2026.

I hope he does the right thing for the nation and uses this opportunity ( if indeed it is Parkinson's that he suffers from) to promote more funding for Parkinsons Disease research.
It is one of the unfairest diseases out there.
It's a soulless thief that robs good people of their humanity.

"Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell suddenly stopped speaking during a weekly Republican leadership news conference Wednesday afternoon, appearing to freeze, and then went silent and was walked away.

" McConnell, R-Ky., had been making his opening remarks about an annual defense policy bill when he stopped talking.
He was silent for 19 seconds. His Republican colleagues asked whether he was OK, and a top McConnell deputy, Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming, a physician, escorted McConnell, 81, away from the cameras and reporters."

A few minutes later, McConnell walked back to the news conference by himself. Asked about his health, he said he was fine. Asked whether he is fully able to do his job, he said, "Yeah."

"Asked about the episode, an aide pointed to McConnell’s saying, “I’m fine,” but the aide added that McConnell “felt lightheaded and stepped away for a moment.”

McConnell's freeze-up comes after he tripped and fell at the Washington, D.C., airport earlier this month.
McConnell spoke to reporters briefly Wednesday night as he left the Capitol and said, "The president called to check on me.""

That's not being "lightheaded".

From now on, if and when I put something in three things, I'll give you both left and right biased media sources, as well as centrist, whenever they can be found, so you can make up your own minds.

Hmm NBC covering this incident like it's big news, I would think they would have allot more material focusing on Brandon falling down stairs, shaking the hands of ghosts, slurring speech, incoherent speech, no awareness of where he stands and the list goes on.... Nah it's nothing, get your tin foil hats.

Hmm, my Washington Examiner link disappeared?
It's going to be difficult to find anything about this silly story from a non-libtard media outlet... oh, wait, it wasn't hard at all.

NBC very nicely covered the story of
McConnell falling in March at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Washington, slamming his head and suffering a concussion and broken ribs, which which kept him away from the Senate for six weeks without even mentioning his fall. They left it at "treatment for a concussion".

( JUST IN:
Uh-oh! Looks like that bastion of Libtarderisn the NYPost is reporting yet ANOTHER unreported upon fall just July 14th at the Reagan National AIRPORT.

https://nypost.com/2023/07/26/mitch...ff-plane-at-reagan-airport-on-july-14-report/)

In fact there was hardly a mention in any left leaning biased media outlet about ALL the times McConnell he has fallen this year.

But @Exodus , you feel that there's been no news coverage of Biden falling?

I looked right here and I found plenty of hard-hitting journalism that covers... stumbles?

-Falls on stage at Air Force graduation, that's 1. And it's true, I've seen that new story repackaged a thousand different ways on the media.

-"Almost tumbles"
Hmm. Not quite a fall.

-"Shorter stairs to reach the same thing it took longer stairs to reach".
Hmm. Dimensional changes like that go against all known laws of physics and mathematics. Maybe that's where my WA link went-another dimension of dimensions?

-"Stumbles"
Hmm. Still not a "fall down stairs"

@Exodus "shakes hands with ghosts"?

Hmm. I see that covered only in The Daily News and the New York Post and YouTube conspiracy channels. Here's what PolitiFact said:

"After the end of his speech at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Biden turned around and gestured toward the onlookers to his right, who rose to applaud him. He wasn’t trying to shake hands with an imaginary person."

But lord knows, YouTube videos and commentaries filmed in bedroom closets are far more reliable, amirite?

@Exodus says " incoherent speech"

I googled the words " Joe Biden's incoherent speech" and you know what came up? Our very own Mitch McConnell saying that in the first 9 out of 10 articles that popped up on the page. How ironic.

@Exodus says " no awareness of where he stands"
Do you mean the gaffer tape used on stages in an X shape so people don't wander out of focus for events, and that is used virtually every time there is a live broadcast?
Ahh. But here's your error in judgement or gap in knowledge. "X" is used for rehearsal with stand-ins so that camera positions can be determined. "T" is for the actual show. The "X" was mistakenly left on from earlier staging.
I only know this because my bil's son started as a gaffer in L.A.

And surely you've heard the statement "everyone on their marks"?

@Exodus says "the list goes on" hinting of darker, more nefarious things that he knows. I'd love to hear.

I think Senator Mitch McConnell "freezing" that is characteristic of PD sufferers, and the medias lack of coverage or the serious fall in New York and Finland is a bigger concern than a stumble or a YouTube

Oh, I just reread your post. My apologies, you were talking about someone named "Brandon".

Well, seems I was able to refute every point you made with the exception of that Air Force Academy graduation fall.

But as I said in my original post, if the good Senator from Kentucky does have PD, that alone is NO reason for anyone to call for his resignation. When he was "frozen" his mind wasn't a blank, it was working furiously to overcome what his body wouldn't do for him.
And I will be pissed if this is used as political fodder by anyone.

My post and title did not rely on loaded or sensational words, bias by source selection, repetition of unproven conspiracy theories, unflattering terms, misrepresentations at all.

And if you actually read the post, you would know this: Those article quotes ARE from THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER, which makes zero pretense that they support and endorse conservative issues. They don't pretend to be unbiased and I respect that.

Philip Frederick Anschutz is the owner. He donates to conservative causes and groups that are anti-LGBTQ and anti-abortion. He makes grants to conservative think tanks, including the American Enterprise Institute, the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation.
He donated $1 million to conservatives during the 2016 U.S. elections, and $200,000 to Republican politicians and political action committees during the 2017 elections.

And although I made all that effort to present a factual event in a fair way, offering and using conservative-biased sources, you still sneeringly suggest I am amongst those who wear tin-foil hats?
Oh, I know you'll get blind support here, there's NO doubt about that. Does not matter if you're wrong or right.
Party over principle, right?

I'm glad I belong to neither party.
Integrity doesn't exist there, never has. Except Carter. He is genuine.

In conclusion, there has been a hell of a lot more coverage of President Biden's stumbles then there has been at all about Mitch McConnell's falls that resulted in injury.
If you can bring some actual real points to bolster your opinion, lay them out. If it's more YouTube and NYP shit, don't bother.
Using others sound bites as your own thoughts, and stringing them together, presents as "incoherent".

BTW? Only an asshole feels joy and political satisfaction when an elderly man falls.

Why bother quoting me when it appears your just rambling to your self? I honestly couldn't care less what other Right or left Biased media outlets covered the story on either of these demons, I explicitly stated NBC and NBC Only, hell even leftist media like the hill covered Brandon's dementia.

Though it seems like a lonely existence to have enough time on your hands to write as many long winded posts that detract from what your quoting as you do. Must be some personal therapeutic method of getting out pent up aggression, or finding a way to justify your own thoughts to yourself... not sure, yet then again I'm not sure why anyone would bother when its blatantly obvious none of it is even getting read....

His software was updating or a mild stroke/ TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack)
I thought about a TIA at first, but now I’m thinking Parkinson’s. My dad had that and fell a lot toward the end of his life. And like Mitch, he would be talking and all of a sudden he would stop. It was heartbreaking to see. He was a proud, dignified man and Parkinson’s robbed him of everything.

It's an attempt to shame folks for what they consider to be "wrong think". It's excruciatingly obvious, and exceptionally pathetic. Imagine WANTING to live in the novel 1984 24/7/365.25? That's NOT what the United States of America is all about, they need to SERIOUSLY check themselves! I can't imagine being so presumptuous that I would tell anyone what media outlets they can or cannot post from? Now, before anyone on the uber-sensitive side of the aisle tries to say that I have done the same thing, my comments on the subject were that the comments in questions were only EVER taken from Left leaning publications, which showed a clear bias. I don't personally care WHAT media source a person uses, however, when they only ever use a select few sources, I will call that out.

Mitch McConnell voted many times to strip and gut healthcare for millions of Americans. He will get the best healthcare on the taxpayers dime. I think he is without a soul or a conscience. However I took no pleasure in watching this episode, I hope he recovers and realizes it’s time to retire. I hope that for a lot of the really really really old ass people who work in our government.
