On November 3rd, multiple callers reported a potentially intoxicated man walking into traffic. Officers made contact with Nicholas Simpson who stumbled off a curb, into traffic, as they arrived.
Simpson, 39, admitted to doing methamphetamine earlier that day and told officers his skin felt like it was on fire. Officers also observed he was unsteady on his feet as he spoke with them. Simpson was determined to be a danger to himself and to others and was taken into custody.
Nicholas Simpson was arrested and charged with public intoxication. On November 4th, his case was dismissed.
