Rest In Paradise: Unclaimed Babies, Named Addaleigh & Zakhari, Laid To Rest In Double Funeral

A solemn moment on the eastside of Indianapolis as two unclaimed babies were laid to rest.

The double funeral took place at Washington Park East Cemetery. Those in attendance were asked to stay in their cars or stand six feet apart.

It was organized by the ministry "He Knows Your Name". Their mission is to give abandoned babies a burial with dignity.

"It's really important we keep doing the things we can do in our community and remember that it's so significant to celebrate life, even though we are all struggling with issues in life and we remember that," said Linda Znacko, founder of the organization.

The two babies were left unclaimed at a local hospital. The angels were named them Addaleigh & Zakhari.

Unclaimed as in .. the parent (s) could not afford and/or handle burying a child!? It's a good deed and all but let's be a little more transparent. I want to know how they come across "unclaimed" children.

Okay it's for truly abandoned children (ie. dumpster) or for parents like homeless parent(s)... Good article... They do burials and head stones...

Because loosing a child is very hard and some people cannot deal with it.. oh hell @Sugar Cookie .. I am sure I had a reason when I thought about it .. I guess I was thinking maybe they were being judgemental in some way .. now that I have sleep .. you're right it really doesn't .. I used to help make gowns for parents who had lost children out of old wedding dresses .. I apolize just loosing Kaiden makes me protective of parents who have lost children .. I apolize you're completely in the right ..

I think we both were not able to convey the words we were feeling.

I think that the greater good and love for these children is the most important thing.

The circumstances do matter but that is for the parent (s) to come to terms with.
