Wade has been missing since she left a friend’s home around 8:30 p.m. last Saturday. Her mother said she went to watch a movie with a co-worker from Chili’s, one of few friends she had since moving to Ennis last month.

Wade was last seen driving away in a silver 2012 Nissan Altima with Kentucky plates 411PAZ. That vehicle is also missing.

Wade had moved to Ennis to help her mom through back surgery, moved back to her hometown in Kentucky and then moved to Ennis again to live in an apartment with her mother and 7-year-old daughter.

The father of Wade’s child, Jared Jones, also lives in Ennis.

“Everything has been just copacetic and beautiful,” he said. “It’s nothing she would run away from.”

Ennis police said they have cleared Jones, Wade’s mother and her co-worker at Chili’s as persons of interest. They’ve also retraced possible routes she could have taken home that night, both on foot and flying overhead with a drone.

Wade’s phone is off, making it untraceable. And she hasn’t used her debit card or had any contact with her family since Saturday, police said.

Wade is described as a 38-year-old white female who weighs about 140 pounds and has blonde hair.

Anyone who spots her or her vehicle should call the Ennis Police Department at 972-875-4462 and ask for Det. Sgt. Rickman.

Emily Wade hasn’t been seen since Saturday and the more time passes the more her family grows concerned about her whereabouts.

The family says Wade left her apartment around 5 p.m. on January 5 to go to a friend’s house to hang out and eat pizza. The 38-year-old mother was expected back home before 9:00 p.m., but never showed up.

Wade’s family immediately started looking for her and contacted Ennis police. Thursday, the department put a public post for help on Facebook.

“She would not just go away. She wanted to be here, was happy to be here,” says Jared Jones, the father of Emily’s 7-year-old daughter.

Wade works at Chili’s Grill & Bar in Ennis and was last seen by her co-workers Saturday night.

Family members describe the woman as being especially close with her mother and her little girl.

Jones says Emily recently moved to North Texas from Kentucky and that they co-parent their child. “Our daughter is… she’s hanging in there. She’s s staying strong and is such a tough little cookie,” he said. “I think she’s staying strong for me and her granny. I know she’s hurting and we just want her mom back. We just want her mom back, back home.”

Wade was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima with Kentucky license plates.

There was another one a couple of weeks ago that I didn't post.

Officials with the Denton Independent School District identified the teens as Diego Rivera, a senior at Guyer High School, and his brother Daniel Rivera, an eighth grader at Calhoun Middle School.

Family members told NBC 5 Diego lost his watch and was going to try to find it Tuesday and that his younger brother said he would go with him. The family said they never heard from the boys again.

At about 8 a.m. Wednesday, state troopers found a white Volkswagen Golf submerged in Denton's Hickory Creek, not far from the intersection of Hickory Creek Road and Country Club Road near Farm-to-Market Road 1830.

Lt. Lonny Haschel, with the Texas Department of Public Safety, said it appeared the vehicle was headed east when it left the road and went over an embankment, overturned and fell into the creek about 25 feet below.

Officials investigating the crash found the bodies of two males inside; the identities were later confirmed to be the Rivera brothers.

Diego Rivera, 17, was a goalkeeper for Guyer High School's varsity soccer team.

Daniel Rivera, 14, was an eight-grader at Calhoun Middle School. He played football as a defensive lineman and always looked up to his big brother, according to an online fundraiser set up for the family.

A cause for the crash has not yet been determined, but NBC 5 noted that in the area near the crash site there are no streetlights and no guardrail. The Denton Fire Department told NBC 5 they respond to many crashes in the area.
