A Pensacola woman is accused of stabbing a minor in a dispute, according to an arrest report from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office (ECSO).
Denique Blackwell is charged with aggravated battery in the August 9 incident. She was released on August 10 on a $2,500 bond.
Deputies were called to Baptist Hospital to investigate a stabbing. The victim told deputies she went to a home to braid Blackwell's hair, and the two argued over the price the victim was charging.
Channel 3 News is withholding the victim's name, as the report identifies her as a minor.
The report says the victim told investigators she and her boyfriend then decided to leave, but were approached by two other females.
According to the document, the victim was then "jumped" by the females, who accused her of stealing drugs and said they didn't like how "rowdy" she was getting.
The report says after the victim got into a car with her boyfriend to leave, Blackwell opened the door and stabbed the victim in the hand with a knife.
The victim and her boyfriend told deputies the other two women involved were yelling at Blackwell to stop at the time.
Investigators noted in the arrest report that the victim had red marks and scratches on her face and shoulder, and said the cut to her hand was "bleeding profusely."
According to the report, Blackwell later claimed she'd left the home after the victim came there to fight her. She claimed the victim followed her, and attacked her with a stick.
The report says Blackwell denied stabbing the victim, or knowing that she was injured. It also notes that after saying the victim went to the home to fight her, Blackwell later said she was there to do her hair.
