Last week, a K9 with the Houton Police Department discovered a puppy who had been tied up in the woods and left to die. The Houston Police Officer’s Union recounted the dog’s heroic save on X, writing:

Last night, while searching for a robbery suspect, K9 Ronin located this abandoned puppy. After finding, tasting, and arresting the robbery suspect, K9 Ronin took his officer back to rescue the puppy.

This was very lucky for the puppy, as some scumbag had tied him to an old box spring and left him to die in the woods.

The abandoned puppy was taken home with K9 Ronin’s handler and by the next day, another law enforcement family decided to give the pup a forever home.
