An Ocala woman upset because her Father’s Day gift was rejected is accused of battering a man and a juvenile who tried to intervene.
Ana Liz Alonso, 35, was charged with two counts of domestic battery after the incident, which happened Sunday night at her residence.
A sheriff’s deputy responded at around 11:30 p.m. to a suspicious incident. The victim awakened Alonso and she came outside with tears in her eyes, according to the sheriff’s office report.

The adult victim told the deputy that he and Alonso had an argument a few days ago. He said when he came home from work Sunday, she had balloons, gifts and a cake for him. The adult victim he told Alonso he didn’t want anything because of her being so disrespectful a few days earlier, according to the report.
The adult victim said Alonso was throwing things and punching him because she wanted to leave with the child. He said he and the juvenile tried to calm Alonso down and keep her from taking the child. The adult victim showed a video of Alonso coming towards him. It appears in the video as if the victim is trying to keep her from hitting him, the report said.
