A New York City rat was spotted dragging a glazed doughnut along the subway tracks of a Lower Manhattan station to share with a rodent friend.

The tiny gentleman eagerly ran the gift to his rat friend, stopping only once to taste the fried dough before making the delivery, video posted to TikTok Wednesday shows.

The rat couldn’t help but indulge after yanking the doughnut toward his date, who skittishly ran away after initially inspecting the massive pastry, but soon came back for the feast.

“Some of the men in this city need lessons in chivalry. Donut rat treats his woman better than half you other rats in this city,” Carly Hittner captioned the video.

“A HIGH VALUE MAN,” one user commented.

Even Tinder, the dating app, commented: “Now this is romance.”
