Two young children died Tuesday morning when a semi-truck hit them.

According to a crash report from Arkansas State Police, the incident happened just before 3:50 a.m. at the 98 mile-marker on U.S. Highway 67, north of Newport.

ASP identified the victims as 10-year-old Michael Rogers III and his 3-year-old sister, Princess Josh-Lyn Logan.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

Troopers also found the mother of the children, Latoya Taylor, 26, at the scene, but she was not physically injured.

Road conditions were dry and the weather was clear at the time of the crash.

In the hours leading up to the incident, Taylor had been streaming videos on Facebook Live.

At 2:27 a.m., Taylor posted a 7-second video of herself wearing a tiara and stating, “We on vacation and it is a wonderful day.”

Prior to that, at 1:15 a.m., a 16:57-minute video was streamed, with Taylor speaking to her children, sometimes using profanity, as she was driving through the small town of Tuckerman.

The 10-year-old boy is seen seated in the front seat barefoot with his sister sitting on his lap.

“I’m on my way to Colorado in the morning!” Taylor can be heard saying at one point, as she was traveling through rural Arkansas with GPS giving audible instructions.

Taylor’s dashboard revealed her Nissan was low on gasoline and her hazard lights and high beams were engaged throughout the almost 17-minute live stream.

Around the 12:39 mark of the video, Taylor’s camera phone shows her operating erratically on a two-lane highway before driving onto the shoulder and telling her children, “In the country you can drive off the road.”

In the video’s comments, a woman named Tonya Hall identified herself as Taylor’s cousin.

“My cousin was not in her right mind everyone knows that,” Hall claimed.

Multiple people commented, claiming to have first-hand knowledge that Taylor had previously been hospitalized.

Damn, my grandkids would not be down with riding in the car without their car seats. Those poor kids. The little boy didn't realize there was something very wrong with mom that night.
My eleven year old corrects me if seatbelts aren't on and doors locked BEFORE starting the car.. Oh @Satanica she also watches my speed and corrects me promptly - Lord help you if you forget a blinker, lol. It's what I get for teaching the older girls to drive..
