The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Tiffany Cure for felony child abuse resulting in death. This follows the death of 3-month-old Stormi Swartz, who was in the care of Cure.

On August 6, the sheriff’s office responded to a 911 call for an unresponsive baby. She was taken to Aurora Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead after life-saving measures were unsuccessful.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said Cure was providing childcare for Swartz and another child at the time of the 911 call.

A Hamilton County District Court jury has acquitted Tiffany Cure, 22, of charges of first-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death in August 2024.
The verdict was delivered on Jan. 28. Hamilton County Attorney Douglas Dexter expressed his condolences, stating, "Our hearts go out to Stormi and her family, but we respect the verdict of the jury."

According to Hamilton County District Court records, on Wednesday, a jury found Cure not guilty of charges of first-degree murder and committing child abuse intentionally resulting in death.
On Aug. 7, the affidavit said an autopsy was performed on the baby which determined she had two severe skull fractures and a subdural hematoma.

The affidavit said Cure was interviewed by law enforcement. The deputy said she stated she was carrying the infant when its head struck the door frame, frustrating her. She said she then hit the baby with her left knee.

ok so according to her it was her fault that she knocked her baby's head when the baby's head hit the door frame as she was carrying the baby but she took it out on the baby by hitting the poor baby again again with her left knee and found not guilty???? or was it that she dropped the baby after baby hit it's head and she tried to stop him/her from hitting the floor and accidently hitting the baby's head with her knee.. but she was frustrate so ?????
