Nebraska Father Arrested After 5MO Son Died In Hot Car

A father in Nebraska was arrested after his 5-month-old son was found dead in a hot car, according to authorities.

Jeremy Hansen, 36, was arrested in the death of his son, whose name is not being released. He’s accused of negligent child abuse resulting in death.

According to a press release, the Hastings Police Department responded to the parking lot of Pacha Soap Co. at 5 p.m. for an unresponsive child in a hot vehicle.

Officers and Hastings Fire and Rescue tried to revive the infant at the scene; however, he was taken to a hospital where he later died.

The preliminary investigation determined that the cause of death was extreme heat exposure, according to police.

At some point there needs to be a an announcement---

"I don't care who the fuck you are, or the circumstances of why this happened, but if you leave a vulnerable person of any age in a car for any reason, you will be charged with murder."

I don't care if you forgot, you are a parent, grandparent, relative, whoever, you put the child in the car, you need to be able to remember long enough to take the child out!!!!!

I was in the dentist's office yesterday and the local news did a story about leaving your pets in the car they could have taken five seconds and mentioned do not leave infants, babies or children in the car either.

The community has come together and raised over 33,000.00 for the family.

the was because this beautiful baby was left to bake in a car not about the money raised but i do wonder why that much money was raised , it is to pay lawyers to defend the person that thought so much about this beautiful babythat he "forgot" him in the car???
