Nashville school shooter's violent rant REVEALED at last: Audrey Hale wrote about her 'torture' as a trans girl and how she would 'kill' to get puberty blockers

Transgender killer Audrey Hale wrote about her 'imaginary penis' and how she would 'kill' to get puberty blockers in the weeks before her horrific attack on the Covenant School in Nashville last year.

The Tennessee Star obtained some four dozen pages of Hale's writings that shed light on her female-to-male transition and why she shot and killed six people at the elementary school in March 2023.

Hale wrote about anger toward her parents, how she hated her conservative Christian upbringing, and how she had suffered because hormone blockers were not available when she was as a child.

The explosive writings, sometimes referred to as Hale's 'manifesto,' have been a source of controversy, with many accusing officials of keeping them secret because they would hurt the trans community.

Now released, they help explain why the 28-year-old artist, who identified as a male named Aiden, shot her way into the Tennessee school, killing three adults and three nine-year-olds, before responding officers killed her.

They still aren't revealing everything that she had on her. They said she had a lot of notes and labels on her. Seeing what has been recently released doesn't provide me or anyone with an explanation as to why this information was deemed "too dangerous to ever be released to the public" as the school and others had argued for.

This shooter was very mentally ill, hands down, no question. Very sad for everyone involved with this mess. In this case, specifically, I think her parents should be facing some charges. This all happened under their roof and there is no way they were completely blind to everything that was going on with her and should have been there to help her, not treat everything with kid gloves and allow her to accumulate an arsenal and the means to do what she did.

She/he is mad at the parents for her/his Christian upbringing and that puberty blockers/ trans treatments were not available? Yet at 28 years old still lives with mum & daddy?? “White privilege” ? That argument coming from Ms Mr hale makes absolutely zero sense! In my mind, if you are unhappy about those things you make plans to get treatment asap. , move away from the pesky parents, who fluff your pillow at every opportunity!! Shooting up a school would not solve those problems? I want to say she’s mentally ill, but she’s terribly spoiled!!

The editor-in-chief of the Tennessee Star has been ordered to appear Monday before the judge overseeing the Nashville Covenant School mass shooting case after the Star published a series of stories detailing writings from the shooter's journals.
Law enforcement has resisted the Star's efforts through a lawsuit to release the journal publicly, including those writings identified by Metro Nashville Police as a manifesto.

Tennessee Chancery Court Judge l'Ashea Myles ordered Michael Patrick Leahy, who also serves as CEO of Star News Digital Media, publisher of The Tennessee Star and other news sites across the U.S., to appear for a show cause hearing Monday to determine whether The Star violated any court orders related to publishing news stories on the shooter's writings.
Audrey Elizabeth Hale, a biological female who identified as a male, shot and killed three children and three school staff in March 2023, prior to being shot and killed by responding police officers.

"Yes, I intend to appear in court on Monday at 11 am, along with my attorneys, Nick Barry with America First Legal and Daniel Horwitz, a nationally recognized First Amendment attorney based here in Nashville," Leahy told The Center Square Sunday.
Leahy says he faces contempt charges and possible jail time for publishing a series of stories detailing Hale's writings after exclusively obtaining about 80 pages of the documents from a source. Leahy and The Tennessee Star have pursued public release of the documents to, at this point, no avail.

Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale’s manifesto can’t be released because victims’ families have copyright

A lengthy manifesto written by Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale won’t be released to the public because its copyright now belongs to her victims’ loved ones, a judge has ruled.

Families of the three children and three staffers gunned down last year by Hale, 28, at the private Christian Covenant School can block media outlets’ access to the writings, Chancery Court Judge I’Ashea Myles ruled Thursday night.

“The original writings, journals, art, photos and videos created by Hale are subject to an exception to the [Tennessee Public Records Act ] created by the federal Copyright Act,” Myles wrote in court documents.

The ruling comes after Hale’s parents transferred ownership of her writings — which include 20 journals, a “memoir” and suicide note — to the families of the people she murdered in a bid to keep them out of the public eye.

“To say that evidence collected by police can be copyrighted by the criminal, or the surviving parent or spouse of the criminal, does not bode well for the transparency of the police or the judicial system,” said Deborah Fisher, executive director of the Tennessee Coalition for Open Government.

I don’t understand why any manifestos are released? It’s insane vitriol spewed by people who don’t care for human life. Nobody but shrinks, law enforcement and lawyers should have access

Yeah, that's not how things work in the USA. Not every "manifesto" is a bad thing. In the end, doesn't matter transparency and freedom are paramount.

Trans Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale ranted about wanting to ‘kill all the white kids’ in newly revealed diary entries

The transgender school shooter who murdered six people at Nashville’s Convent School in 2023 raged about hating America and wanting to “kill all the white kids” in over 1,000 pages of newly revealed diary entries.
Audrey Hale, 28, left behind 16 notebooks filled with deranged writings detailing self-loathing and racial hate, repeating how she wanted “kill my own race” and “destroy all the white people who are teachers.”

“Being white sucks, but being black is so cool. Black people should rule. White people should fall, every white person who lived and died. I hate you all,” wrote Hale, who was white.
“I hate the American people,” she wrote. “America is not the land of the free, it’s a land full of idiots. It will only get worse in this country, not near enough gods like me. America and its people all destined to soon be destroyed.”
The entries – which were obtained by Megyn Kelly’s AM Update – also covered Hale’s gender frustrations.
“I only wore some nice girl clothes as a cover-up from the truth, which I denied myself all these years. And I hated all of it,” wrote Hale, who was born female but identified as a male.

“It was miserable being raised a girl because I had no choice. There was lack of education, research, and medicine to help society or parents better understand transgender.”
Hale was also enraged that she hadn’t been given puberty blockers – and feared it was too late to start taking them.

“I’m mad that no one told me until I was 22. I feel I’m too old and too late to become a man. Now, the process takes months to years. By the time that happens, I’m 30, and then 10 years later I got a bald spot on my head and looked like an old man. Hell no,” she wrote.
She chose the Covenant School as a target because she was afraid of being overpowered during an attack and felt that young kids would be safe targets, police revealed in their report last week.

Investigators determined Hale was sane, but evidence suggested worsening anxiety, depression and rage.

Before the massacre, Hale’s parents assisted their child “with obtaining mental healthcare despite them not being legally required to do so,” police wrote.

But “Hale chronicled that she withheld information from providers to prevent her from being stopped,” authorities said.
The killer often wrote about the level of secrecy needed to carry out the attack, including withholding information from the therapist, taking steps to delete browsing history, and concealing guns and ammunition, police said.

Even though Hale’s “disappointments in relationships, career aspirations, and independence fueled her depression, and even though this depression made her highly suicidal, this doesn’t explain the attack,” police said.

“As Hale wrote on several occasions, if suicide was her goal then she would have simply killed herself,” the report states. “Throughout the writings and videos, Hale frequently commented that her death needed to matter and be remembered.”
Investigators learned Hale felt chronic loneliness and disappointment.

“She felt abandoned and ignored by those she longed to befriend and engage with romantically, which angered her more than anything else,” the report says.

“She believed that by simply committing suicide, she would be quickly forgotten and not even worthy of a footnote in history. She craved the notoriety Harris and Klebold attained following Columbine.”
Like Harris and Klebold, Hale “longed for her name and actions to be remembered long after she was dead,” police said.
“She openly acknowledged none of those she would kill were guilty of anything and denied any personal motivation for targeting them,” Nashville police wrote. Instead, the killer “felt their deaths were necessary to give her death meaning.”

“She wanted her mental health to be a prominent topic of discussion and debate,” investigators said.
“Most disturbingly, she wanted the things she left behind to be shared with the world so she could inspire and teach others who were ‘mentally disordered’ like her to plan and commit an attack of their own.”

Yet Hale “often complained how she didn’t know enough about the mental health history or motives of most mass killers, as nothing was publicly documented regarding their struggles,” the reports says.

Nonetheless, “Hale felt she would be a failure if she killed less than 10 people during the attack,” the report said.
Hale took a guided tour of the school in 2021, claiming to be “an alum who wanted to reminisce about her time in elementary school,” the report said. In reality, Hale was casing the school and “discreetly photographed different locations,” police said.

Less than two years after that visit, Hale burst into her beloved former school wielding an assault-style rifle and gunned down six people.
