No one really thought we'd ever see this, especially not an unredacted version, did they? Damn glad I decided not to hold my breath on waiting this one out.

Good point @Crazy Cat Lady. That didn't occur to me because, well, doing this kind of thing would never occur to me. I want to see it for the scientific value of it, maybe to find signs to look for, causes, prevention methods. I would be horrified if it was released and used as a how-to instruction document though!

When it comes to releasing her manifesto, I am not going to say "yes they should" or "no they shouldn't". But one thing I wonder is if releasing the memo publicly would result in people glamorizing her. Maybe the release of the memo itself wouldn't do that per se, but no shortage of those responding to it would. Also, releasing the manifesto would keep her in the worldwide spotlight, which is not fully necessary. Having access to that information for any interested party could perhaps be useful for those who have a completionist approach or pursuance of expertise to the field of criminal psychology or the history of mass shooters. But, frankly, how interesting is her sociopolitical viewpoints and her written "my life sucks and the world sucks" sobfest when she killed six people, including three children? Personally speaking, I do not care for her level of intelligence, fascination with horror films, and definitely not her pronouns; a person who shoots multiple children to death is among the worst that humanity has to offer. She is not a person whom I would want to read the writings of and think, "well, actually, she has the right idea about a few things." When it comes to Nashville PD releasing the manifesto, I do not have a position on that. But I think that helping the affected families move forward, and giving them comfort and aid, is much more important than the information contained in the shooter's screed. Whatever the shooter was complaining about in the manifesto is almost impossible to be just as bad, or worse, than killing three adults and three children at a Christian place of education.

What the hell is in this "manifesto"??

Nashville school shooter’s manifesto delivered to judge to decide on public release

A Tennessee judge is set to decide whether the full, unredacted manifesto of Covenant School shooter Audrey Elizabeth Hale will be publicly released.

The city’s lawyers have submitted the manifesto, along with a censored version, to the Davidson County jurist for review, the local FOX17 affiliate reported.

The move comes after a slew of lawsuits calling on the city to release the manifesto, in its entirety, involving the March 27 massacre that left three children and three staff members dead before Hale, 28, was shot and killed by responding police.

With a motive yet to be determined, many believe the writings could bring insight as to why Hale, a former student at the Christian elementary school, committed the atrocity.

The manifesto was previously under review by Nashville police and the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit.

This is getting so shady...

Covenant School where Audrey Hale fatally shot 6 people tries to block release of certain records tied to massacre

The private Christian school where Audrey Hale slaughtered six people took legal action this week to stop the release of some records tied to the disturbing shooting, according to a legal filing.

The Covenant School and associated Covenant Presbyterian Church called on the court to intervene and “protect its interest relating” to Hale’s manifesto after lawsuits were filed seeking the release, according to a Monday court filing.

The legal papers obtained by WSMV from The Covenant School argue records being sought could include the layout of the church’s facilities and “confidential information pertaining to Covenant Church employees.”

“Covenant Church is so situated that the disposition of this action may impair or impede its ability to protect its interests and the privacy of its employees,” the filing states.

Covenant school parents argue against Audrey Hale manifesto release at tense court hearing

Lawyers representing parents at the Nashville Covenant school where shooter Audrey Hale killed six people in March argued in court against releasing her manifesto publicly on Monday — but received significant pushback from free speech lawyers.

Attorney Eric Osborne, who says he’s representing 100 of the 112 families at the Christian elementary school, told the court on Monday parents fear the killers’ manifesto could lead to another massacre.

“Writings like this tend to inspire additional school shootings,” Osborne said, adding that the safety of the school and others like it were at the forefront of the families’ concerns.

The lawyer argued parents should be allowed to testify against the public’s request to publish Hale’s writings, noting some would like to do so in-person, while others should be allowed to submit their opinions anonymously.

However, attorney Robb Harvey, representing The Tennessean media outlet — one of the entities suing the Metro Nashville Police Department to publish the manifesto — slammed their request as unprecedented.

“What happened that day, it’s a tragedy, but it doesn’t mean that everyone at the school is a victim,” Harvey said.

Fellow attorney Doug Pierce, representing the National Police Association, echoed Harvey’s complaint and suggested parents must know what is contained in Hale’s writings in order for them to want them blocked.

Osborne condemned that notion and reiterated his clients don’t know the contents of the manifesto.

Nashville judge rules parents of victims can weigh in on release of Covenant School shooter's writings

A judge in Nashville, Tennessee, ruled Wednesday that parents of victims from the March 27 Covenant School shooting can have a say on whether the shooter's writings should be kept secret.

The judge ruled that parents of Covenant School victims have a right to intervene against organizations who want the shooter's writings to be made public and released in accordance to the Tennessee Public Records Act.

Nashville shooter Audrey Hale’s parents transfer manifesto to Covenant School parents — who are battling to keep it from being released

Nashville shooter Audrey Hale’s parents have transferred ownership of her “manifesto” to the families of Covenant School students who are battling to stop them being released.

The move effectively means the parents reeling from the 28-year-old shooter’s rampage, which killed six, are now working with the killer’s family to stop her voluminous writings being made public.

Hale, who was transgender, blasted into the private elementary school on the morning of March 27, and carried out the killing spree before Metro Nashville police shot her down.

She had written diaries, journals and drawings which freedom of information advocates are seeking to make public, but the school is fiercely opposed to.

Several politicians, a newspaper and gun-rights groups are seeking the release of Hale’s writings, arguing any potential changes to firearm regulations based on the shooting would not be fair without knowing more about Hale’s motives and mental state.

Doug Pierce, an attorney for the National Police Association, who is seeking to release the writings told Fox news: “One of the lawyers for the parents introduced a criminal defense lawyer who says that he represents the parents of the shooter.

“He said that the shooter died without having a will and therefore has no other heirs, so … he says [the writings] belong to the parents, and the parents are going to assign their interest in those writings to the school.”

However, Pierce countered: “If public officials take them into custody as part of their duties, which is what happened here when police took them, they become part of the public record.”

I don't feel the writing should be on public view, so that morons can then "glorify" the shooter.

They do not need the writings, this person was emotionally and mentally fucked up, any motive they would have had wouldn't make any sense to reasonable human beings.

Nashville Christian school shooter had mysterious handwritten notes on clothes, numbered anklet

Audrey Elizabeth Hale, the 28-year-old trans artist killed by police after opening fire on a private Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee, covered her clothes in handwritten messages before her deadly assault in late March, according to an autopsy report.

The report acknowledges that Hale identified as a trans male but officially lists her as female. She was carrying a knife inscribed with her chosen name, Aiden, according to the autopsy.

Months after police released bodycam video that showed responding officers take down the shooter in the middle of the assault at the Covenant School, Hale's cause and manner of death were unsurprisingly determined to be homicide by gunshot wounds. She also had bruises and abrasions and "minor" blunt force trauma.

However, the report included new details about the attack — including the revelation that Hale's clothes were covered in handwritten notes, drawings and numbers. The report also noted that Hale wore a plastic anklet inscribed with "508407."

It's unclear what was written on her clothes, and the revelation comes as the city faces public records lawsuits to demand the release of Hale's manifesto and other writings, which were recovered at the crime scene and at her parents' home.

Manifesto of trans Nashville school shooter LEAKED, full of anti-white hate

A leaked manifesto reveals the Nashville trans school shooter had a violent hatred of the “little crackers” with “white privilege” that were murdered.

First obtained and released by the Louder with Crowder conservative Rumble show, the three-page handwritten document shows Audrey “Aiden” Hale meticulously planned their last moments and the mass school shooting at The Covenant School on March 27. Three young children and three school staff were killed before Hale, 28, was shot dead by responding police.

The manifesto, written in a spiral notebook, has various screeds and thoughts scrawled down by pen.

“DEATH DAY,” Hale wrote on one page with the drawing of a target reticle and a pistol, along with the date “3/27/23.”

What a dumb cunt. I have a white kid in a private school, and we are not rich or think we are better than anyone.

I actually thought this dumb bitch was mentally ill. Nope. Just a little brat having a tantrum. Blaming the school because shes a loner transperson.

She hates white people so much but she killed a black janitor.

This bitch makes me so angry!

Odd that they would say the images are "not MNPD crime scene images". I don't think anyone was ever claiming they were taken at the scene of the crime. I've seen this used before as an obfuscation tactic: something purports to be thing "A", so you make an authoritative case that it is not thing "B", hoping people get the two mixed up.

Also, there would seem to be no need to "investigate" Internet trolls posting fabricated images. Any 13 year-old with a pen and a spiral notebook could manufacture a fake in an afternoon. If they need to investigate, it suggests somebody with access to the real deal did something unauthorized with it.

So this idiot was a transformer but, called kids a bunch of faggots? LOL

I expect, if and when the rest comes out, we'll see a lot of disorganized and incoherent anger, and self-hatred projected outward. In a lot of these public mass shootings, the underlying motive is not politics but suicide.

Yes. That they are not MNPD crime scene photos means nothing.

The issue for the public right now, isn't who took a photograph, or where or how, that's the problem of MPD Internal Affairs, if it is.
The issue is whether or not those are Audrey Hale's writings.

The statement answers a question no one asked.

I saw Andrew Ngo promoting it earlier yesterday and don't trust him.
Ngo may be gay, but he is so virulently anti-Trans, he often manufactures connections where there are none, and mis-labels frequently.
That's not uncommon, the LGB despising the T.
Don't know all the reasons, it just is.

Covenant school shooter Audrey Hale’s leaked writings authenticated by Nashville police

Nashville Police Chief John Drake confirmed the authenticity of writings attributed to school shooter Audrey Hale, as the city’s mayor ripped the fact they leaked to conservative commentator Steven Crowder.

Crowder published three hand written pages authored by Hale before she murdered six people, including three kids, at The Covenant School in March.

The materials indicated deep anti-white animus — especially towards those Hale, who was deeply troubled and identified as transgender, considered “privileged.”

The potential release of Hale’s full writings has caused controversy since the slayings.

Hearing date set to determine public release of Covenant School shooter's journals

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A date for the show-cause hearing was set Monday morning to decide whether the Covenant School mass shooter’s journals should be made public.

The hearing will take place April 16 and 17.

In the months following the shooting that claimed six innocent lives at the private elementary school, lawsuits filed by the National Police Association (NPA), The Tennessean, and Tennessee Firearms Association (TFA) called for the public release of writings left behind by shooter Audrey Hale. The school, a group of parents from Covenant, and others have argued the writings should not be released to avoid potential copycats and to allow for closure to the parents who lost children.

Hearing to decide whether Covenant School shooter's writings should be made public

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A hearing will take place Tuesday after months of delay to decide whether The Covenant School mass shooter's writingsshould be made public.

This comes after a shooter killed six people inside The Covenant School on March 27.

It's been a long time coming for both sides, with the judge expected to finally make a decision this week.

Parents of Covenant School shooting victims beg judge not to release shooter Audrey Hale’s manifesto

Parents of the victims of the 2023 Covenant School shooting begged a judge not to release the killer’s manifesto at a hearing in Nashville Tuesday.

Transgender Audrey Hale killed three children and three adults at her former school in March last year before being shot by police. The 28-year-old left behind at least 20 journals, a suicide note, and an unpublished memoir which the school and associated church have made a huge effort to prevent being released.

Media companies and free speech advocates are suing to make Hale’s writings public, citing the public’s right to know what motivated the shooting.

“I will not stand by to allow these shooter’s writings be published in any way. This mass murderer doesn’t get to speak from the grave,” wrote Erin Kinney, whose 9-year-old son William was killed by Hale.

“I find my heart heavier with grief that I could never imagine,” Kinney added. “I must live through every single hour that my child is gone from this world … Despite this immense pain, I implore you to serve what little justice you can.”

Free speech attorneys arguing for the manifesto’s release have previously addressed parents’ statements, pointing out that while they may be traumatized, the matter should not be decided by them.

Robb Harvey, representing The Tennessean media outlet, pointed out the parents were not actually the victims of the crime, saying: “What happened that day, it’s a tragedy, but it doesn’t mean that everyone at the school is a victim.”
