According to court documents, officers were called for a 3-year-old being taken to the emergency room with a broken bone. When officers arrived, they saw the little girl also had severe bruising to both of her eyes and head.

A criminal complaint said the suspect, Michael Bostic, gave a statement to police saying the little girl was jumping on the bed, he picked her up by the arms and “heard a crunch and put her back down”.

The victim was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center for further medical treatment due to the severe break of her upper arm.

Bostic was arrested and charged with child abuse and child neglect.

I'm going to randomly post a picture of a banjo.

Since this is a musical instrument, you can think of any song you like. I mean, any song at all. It can be whatever song you want! I am not pressuring any of you to think of one particular song (or riff) over any other selection of music. It does not even have to be from a film made in the 1970s. Not at all. There were a ton of '70s films with banjos. I mean, way too many to count.

I think he needs to go through a car wash without his car.

I feel bad for whoever is sitting next to him and casting a shadow in that picture.

They need to start a scared straight program where people come and be his cellmate for a few hours. I guarantee crime would fall drastically lol.

How hard do you have to grab a three year old girl to severely break her arm? She was jumping on a bed! Just doing what most little girls do ! Spay Neuter clinic for him! I hope the little girl gets a home with people who will love and cherish her, applaud her accomplishments and allow her to grow into a woman who is a valuable member of society. They need to get a better way to evaluate the most violent “parents”, perhaps they should have supervised visits for an extended period of time, some people are not suited to full time parenting. May save some lives.

Bostic told Greenbrier County Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Dent he was pleading guilty because he committed the act.

Burdette told the court the victim’s guardian, who was not present at the hearing, also accepted the deal.

During the hearing, Bostic indicated he is addicted to alcohol, with defense attorney Dewitt Daniell emphasizing the role alcohol as played in his life now and then.

“[Bostic] has done a great deal of work in the last year and a half to solve what we believe to be the underlying problems that resulted in a very tragic and regrettable event with respect to this child,” said Daniell. “He has done a remarkable job over the last year and a half of achieving and maintaining his sobriety.”
