Police in California recently found themselves in a smelly situation after a loose cow crashed into a vehicle and pooped all over it.

The Pleasanton Police Department recounted the story Wednesday in a Facebook post.

Officers said they initially received calls about a cow causing slowdowns on local roadways. Upon responding to the scene, they learned the animal caused a "cow-llision" with a Sedan and photos show that it defecated all over the car along with smashing the windshield.

They said no one was injured and the cow was safely returned home.
