I get blamed for us losing members who were left-leaning because of some of the things I said and allowed. Hell, according to one of our old mods, I'm responsible for losing all the paying gay members they brought to the site. But we lost a lot of right-leaning members as well. No way to make everyone happy aside from cutting out all political discussions, which I refuse to do -- even though I almost did a couple of times.

Some of us just getting old and forgetful, think she was in my age group
Seems a lot of the left, lost interest when Biden was elected and they didn't have Trump to rage against. I feel most of those that left had extreme TDS or were getting on in age, also life changes like marriage, kids and jobs leaving less time

Really think most were brought here because of a certain case, but eventually attacking Trump became their full focus and lost track of why they originally became members. Three things died after the election no Trump to attack, killed it

Every name that has come up I have to either check my PMs to see if they were pissed at me and left and I don't remember or ask @Jaded. I got so sick of a lot of the bullshit (mainly the political bs) that I just said fuck it and kind of retreated. Wasn't supposed to be as long as it was, but it is what it is. I've sent out a couple emails to a couple members. Not to come back, but just to check on 'em. If they are not going to come back to tell you themselves, I will still ask if it is ok to let those who are curious if they are doing alright.

Okay, I want to say this the right way...
She was last here November 27th.
She has spoken publicly about her health struggles.
She is awesome and lovely and has been here 9 years and made smart, insightful posts.

It strikes me that a harridan's absence is remarked upon but peeps who are terrific and kind aren't noticed, but that's the way of the world, it's not just here, and it's not a competition, it's just very telling. Whatever.

While I get what you are saying, I will say there are some members that for me, Morbid, cause more headaches than anything positive they may bring.

I felt the same way about lithiumgirl. While she sometimes was incredibly inappropriate, she did sometimes also have amazing insight, and a unique perspective on things.
