A working mom of three from Massachusetts mysteriously vanished after leaving home to catch a flight on New Year’s Day — sparking a statewide police search as her loved ones fear the worst.

Ana Walshe, 39, of Cohasset ordered a rideshare bound for Logan International Airport in Boston at 4 a.m. to commute to Washington, DC, for her job at a real estate firm, according to police.

But Walshe, who has three young sons, ranging from 2 to 6 years old, never boarded the plane and hasn’t been seen since, Cohasset cops and a friend told wcvb.com.

“Honestly, I’m scared. Really, really scared,” Alissa Kirby, a friend of Walshe, said of her sudden disappearance.

“She’s a loving and loyal wife and mother of three beautiful boys. I know in my heart, that of her choice, she would not go a day without speaking to her husband and her kids.”

She was reported missing by her husband, Brian Walshe, on Wednesday — three days after leaving home.

But Cohasset Police Chief William Quigley said it was common for Walshe to work long hours without contacting her family, which may have accounted for the gap between her disappearance and her husband’s call to police.

The high-end property management firm where she works, Tishman Speyer, reported her missing simultaneously on Wednesday.

I'm following this case closely, and there is a lot going on here.

A fire was just reported at the home that Ana Washe previously owned and sold only a few months ago. Maybe a weird coincidence?

Additionally, her husband just pleaded guilty to art theft and fraud after selling 2 fake Warhol paintings.

Some additional details not the original post: According to Massachusetts police, they didn't have evidence of her ordering a ride share. However, they are looking into the possibility of an off-app transaction. They have confirmed that she did not board a flight from Boston Logan airport.

She originally was scheduled to fly out on January 3rd but changed it to January 1st due to a work emergency in Washington, DC.

Her former home is beautiful. Id never leave if that was mine lol.

Very suspicious timing for the fire but coincidences happen.

The first pic of her in this thread she is wearing a huge rock on her finger. I wonder if she was one of those people who are obviously wealthy just by looking at her. It would make her a target for sure.

So she works and makes probably great money and her husband is just an art fraud?

Yeah, this is looking worse each day:

Missing mom Ana Walshe’s husband grins at court as blood, $450 in cleaning products found in home

The husband of missing Massachusetts realtor Ana Walshe smiled as he was led into a Massachusetts courthouse Monday, where prosecutors revealed that blood and a broken knife were found by cops in the family’s basement, that he bought $450 of cleaning materials and that he allegedly searched online for how to dispose of a body, according to sources.

Brian Walshe, 46, flashed a grin as police escorted him to Quincy District Court, where he was arraigned on charges of misleading investigators looking into his wife’s disappearance.

Damn. She's gone . $450 in cleaning supplies sounds like an insane amount of stuff. Smiling like an idiot is really freaky. Even if he was innocent, his wife is missing, his kids probably miss her and feel sad, the cops are suggesting he's a murder. What exactly is there to smile at?

how could he smile when his children are left without a parent at a time when they need at least one parent so badly.... he might be on house arrest but that also means that unless someone takes the kids for outings they are also house bound... what a freaking idiot.. and they found a damaged knife with some blood on it ... if the blood isn't his he is in big trouble if it is hers... who the heck keeps a damaged knife even if blood or d.n.a on it cuz nobody would even notice a broken knife in the metal recycling even if it was in your bin ...all you see is metal you don't inspect the bin well at least i never did lol. his actions so far speaks loudly of his possible guilt .. is his grim because he thinks no matter what evidence they find without finding her body he is home free????

Getting pretty specific here:

Investigators have also found Walshe made internet searches for “how to dispose of a 115-pound woman’s body” and how to go about dismembering a body, law enforcement sources told CNN. Detectives could also not find a record from any of the main rideshare services making a pickup at the Walshe residence on the morning of Ana’s disappearance.

Was also wondering what the evidence of her using a rideshare service was going to turn up.

or where her cell phone is ... don't know if they could ping it to see where last it was at... cuz no way would anyone leave cell phone behind so yea it would be telling i would imagine
It pinged at her home on the 1st and 2nd, when she was supposed to be gone. They also found blood in the basement.

"How to dispose of a 115 pound woman's body" ffs this guy has the IQ of a potato.

Anyone care to bet she was planning to divorce this incredibly ugly and deceitful lump?
Not from this:

Ana Walshe’s final chilling note to husband revealed: ‘Courage, love, perseverance…’

COHASSET, Mass. — An eerie note written in bright red letters by Ana Walshe looking forward to the year ahead from a New Year’s Eve party just hours before she disappeared can exclusively be revealed by The Post.

“Wow! 2022…What a year! And yet, we are still here and together! Let’s make 2023 the best one yet! We are the authors of our lives…courage, love, perseverance, compassion, and joy. Love, Ana,” reads the ominous message, written on the side of a Lanson Noble Cuvee champagne box.

The champagne sits in the dining room of Ana and husband Brian Walshe’s Cohasset home, which appears to be largely untouched since the party, also attended by family friend Gem Mutlu.

Another side of the box reads: “Gem Ana Brian 2023!”

Mutlu previously claimed nothing was amiss at the party, saying: “We hugged and celebrated and we toasted, just what you do over New Year’s.

@Turd Fergusen @Freyja

My friend who lives in Boston mention that the husband had gotten into legal trouble for art forgery and there was some home arrest I'll go look...

ETA answer:

There's this, as @maccoombsM said earlier:

"Walshe is on home confinement because of a federal conviction for fraud following a scheme where he stole and sold real and fake Andy Warhol paintings."

""He's very tactful in how he plays the legal system," Rivlin added. "It's been over 6 years and he's avoided sentencing this long."
It's true: a series of payment delays as well as other issues has delayed sentencing by a year and a half.
Walshe pleaded guilty as part of a plea deal in 2021. The deal involved no jail time, but he had to either return the stolen paintings or pay restitution for them. "

And this:

"So far, he has been unable to do either.
In addition, Walshe is accused of destroying his father's will that disinherited him when he died back in 2018 and collecting tens of thousands of dollars from his father's estate not meant for him.
This probate issue has been the latest delay in his ability to be sentenced and pay the three victims in the art heist case. "

I don't think things were idyllic at home, with him on home confinement, a sentence he needed to serve and money stolen from his father's estate. A person under those self-made pressures cannot be easy to live with.
Plus, discovering he was a crook?
But maybe she viewed things as being manageable?

Ana Walshe’s tenants saw her have a ‘meltdown like Britney Spears’

Former tenants of missing Massachusetts mom Ana Walshe and her fraudster husband claim they saw the composed career woman descend into an epic “meltdown” shortly before her disappearance.

“It was like a whole other Ana,” Mandi Silva told The Post of the moment she and her husband confronted the Walshes late last month about plans to sell the apartment they rented from the couple for almost four years.

Mike Silva, a contractor, said he worked on Ana and her husband Brian’s six Massachusetts properties for eight years. He and Mandi got discounted rent on their unit, in the town of Revere, in exchange for his labor.

“You know Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, or the Queen? They present and carry themselves very professional, that was Ana,” Mandi said of the real estate executive and mom of three.

“But when we put our foot down and said, ‘No, you cannot do this to us’ and we were fighting back, it was like watching Britney Spears have a meltdown when Justin Timberlake broke up with her. It was not normal.”

Ana, 39, was last seen at the family’s Cohasset home on Jan. 1. Brian Walshe, 46, was arrested on Jan. 8 and charged with misleading the investigation into her disappearance after failing to disclose accurate details of his own whereabouts during the previous week.

His father disinherited him? That's a pretty harsh thing to do unless you feel pretty sure your kid is a piece of shit. And if he stole funds from the estate that probably means it was intended for a different family member and he was cool with stealing from family too.

There must have been some doubts in their mind about their marriage at least at some point. You don't write stuff like "we're still together!" If you have total faith in your relationship. If it were a solid relationship then of course you're still together. Why wouldn't you be, so it would be weird to point it out.

I think they didn't have the happy marriage she was putting out publicly. If he was robbing estates and selling fake art, then this dude was a bum and she was doing all the work to keep them afloat. I would guess she was liquidating assets to pay off his impending restitution for the stolen paintings. It was probably a debt she would get stuck with since they were married. I bet she was pissed about it too. I would be.

Missing mom Ana Walshe was first reported missing by employer, not husband

Massachusetts mom of three Ana Walshe was first reported missing by her employer and not her husband — contradicting his previous statements in the confusing case being watched across the country.

Walshe, 38, a real estate executive with the luxury Tishman Speyer group, was last seen on New Year’s Day.

Her husband, Brian Walshe — who has since been arrested for hindering the police search for his wife — reported her missing on Jan 4. His lawyer had said Tishman Speyer also reported her missing that day after it had been alerted by Brian, 47, about her disappearance.

But police logs reviewed by The Post reveal it was actually the real estate group that made the first call to cops before noon that day.

A caller who identified himself as head of security at Tishman Speyer asked police to conduct a wellness check on Ana, saying she was last seen on Dec. 30, the documents reveal.

Murder warrant is issued for Brian Walshe in the death of his wife, Ana Walshe

Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey announced the charge, but did not disclose details on what led investigators to the decision. Brian Walshe was previously arrested on suspicion of misleading the investigation and is still in police custody.

What a bastard. Those kids have no parents now. Their whole lives have been devastated forever. Whatever his motive is will be selfish and pathetic and he will most likely drag her name through the mud further hurting his kids.

He was so sloppy and obvious about it all. There was no way he would get away with it and get to keep her money which I am sure was his goal. She earned the money. If he divorced her he's just an unemployable thief.

Here's what I'm wondering.... does he now get to blow her estate paying for defense lawyers? That money should go to the lives, therapy and education of her children. This fuckin bum didnt earn it and shouldnt get to spend it.

Those poor kids. I just can't imagine how deeply heart broken and disrupted they feel.

I don't know if anyone caught it but all the Google searches he did were done on his kid's tablets. I guess he thought that would insulate him from being found out. Total huge piece of shit. Poor kids indeed. Having not heard of any local relatives they'll probably go into foster care.

This guy really knows how to put a plan together. If he weren't such a prize, inept and murderous jerk one could almost pity him for his ineptitude.

He will only find pity for himself and give little or no thought to how he has devastated his children and burdened them with the knowledge that their father was capable of such an evil act.

Put him in a hole and forget where you put him.
