Pennsylvania State Police arrested a man for killing a dog in Lackawanna County.
State Police said it arrested Jack J. Giles, 30, he is facing a charge of cruelty to animals.
Police said on Oct. 22, around 11 p.m., troopers were informed that Giles stabbed a dog and then cut its throat on Dutter Road in Thornhurst Township.
According to police, Giles killed the dog and then placed it inside a plastic tote and covered it with clothes. He then fled the scene.
