"United State Attorney Eric H. MacDonald said the case involving Ryan T. Feine, of Winona, is "one of the most egregious cases of child sexual abuse my office has prosecuted." The judge that heard Feine's guilty plea last October called it "certainly hoorendous" and "among the worst I've ever seen."

A search warrant turned up more than 1,000 images and 150 videos of child pornography, according to court documents. Between February 2013 and September 2013, Feine pleaded guilty to creating multiple videos of him sexually abusing an infant who was less than a year old at the time, in addition to producing sexually explicit images of a 5-year-old.

It wasn't until August 2018 that law enforcement was alerted to Feine's crimes, with investigators from the FBI, Winona Police Department and Winona County Sheriff's Office later learning that Feine created a "multi-part child pornography series that has been distributed across the country."

Feine will serve 20 years of supervised release following the 38-year prison sentence, along with restitution payable to each victim.

According to the Winona Daily News, Feine also has pending charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in Winona County and two counts of criminal sexual conduct of varying degrees in Fillmore County."

God Bless the FBI for pursuing these cases vigorously.
Kinda wish the punishments could be more public and horrendous, instead of the abstract and colorless "38-year prison sentence".
The risk and fear of something blood-chillingly terrifying might be a better deterrent for these evil weaklings.
You know, something cruel and unusual.
