"A Memphis man is behind bars, accused of a gruesome crime. Police say Elisha Clayton attacked and raped his ex-wife while picking up their children.

Elisha Clayton, 27, faces charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated rape and aggravated assault. According to a police affidavit, Clayton went to pick up his children from his ex-wife’s home on Edith Avenue Friday.

Investigators say Clayton became upset after seeing his ex-wife had gotten her nails done after recently telling him she didn’t have any money.

Police say Clayton pulled out a weapon, forced his way into the home and then raped his ex-wife."

So, I take it he's not on child support. She just asks him when she needs money and he's not even okay with that. He'd probably kill her, if she tried to get government ordered child support payments.

He may have been paying child support, no way to make a call on that based on this story.

She may have been asking for more money, claiming she didnt have enough even in spite of the support. Hence, his fury upon being decieved.

Inexcusable either way of course, but she very well may have been pulling a fast one/taking advantage of her ex financially.
