Two children are credited with following the sounds of the baby's cries.

The children discovered the baby was placed in bushes.

Police in Las Vegas are searching for the mother of the infant.

Authorities say the baby was likely born on Sunday and abandoned shortly after.

The baby had some minor injuries but is going to be okay, according to police.
