Crazy Cat Lady

Stephanie Russell, 53, is a pediatrician and a would-be husband killer. When her ex-husband gained full custody of their children (which makes me wonder why SHE didn't get custody), she tried to hire three different occult practitioners to cast a "death spell" on her ex. She tried to haggle on the prices for the death spells and didn't want to place a down payment because she wanted guarantees that the spells would work. The fourth time was not a charm; she started corresponding with an FBI undercover agent and was arrested in May 2022. She's still in jail, because the judge determined that she's still a danger to her ex. Ya think? Trial starts in April.

""What is your success rate? Your price? Your guarantee?” Russell asks in one message containing a flurry of questions.

A woman identified as “mama” replies: “death success rates are 85%.” She then tells Russell the “price depends on the number of people” and that she offers a “100% guarantee or money back.”

“Do you use sacrifice?” Russell later asks her.

The woman replies: “no.”

Peddling her wares at $580 per death spell, Russell asks the woman in the first text chain if payment can be made after the fact. The woman replies that she only works on a “cash basis.”"

85% success rate, 100% money back guarantee?
For $580 you can't afford NOT to do this!

UPDATE: Death spell Stephanie Russell pleads guilty on the day her trial was set to begin.
She pleaded guilty to using a facility in interstate commerce, or causing another person to travel in interstate commerce, in the attempted murder-for-hire of her ex-husband, as well as aiding and abetting interstate stalking of her ex-husband.

She faces up to 15 years in prison when she's sentenced on July 31st.
