A man accused of grinding on and groping a woman on a Queens train shrugged off the attack after he was arrested for it, court papers reveal.

John Anturi claimed his victim woman “moved her buttocks towards my groin” — not the other way around — on the crowded train as he tried to downplay the forcible touching and sex abuse charges he’s facing over the Nov. 15 incident. “I was wearing so many layers of clothing that I never came in contact with her,” he added.

His 28-year-old victim took a photo of Anturi after he gyrated on her and grabbed her buttocks on a Flushing-bound No. 7 train at Court Square near 45th Road in Long Island City, cops said.

Cops released the photo and a tipster recognized Anturi, who cops arrested Tuesday. It was his first arrest in the city, official said.


During questioning, the Elmhurst resident confessed to being on the train — but not much else.

"There was a beautiful Asian woman to my right and left, and the woman that said I was touching her and screaming and yelling was standing in front of me. They were all grabbing the pole.”

“(She) moved her buttocks toward my groin area a couple of times,” he said.
