According to a news release from the Greene County Sheriff's Office, they responded on Sept. 3 to a home in Paton, where they were told a 2-month-old wasn't breathing. They opened an investigation after the child died.

Nolan Wilson, 26, was arrested more than 2 months after the child's death. Wilson has also been charged with child endangerment resulting in death and domestic abuse assault by strangulation causing bodily injury.
