A 3-year-old Indiana boy is fighting for his life after suffering head injuries from his 12-year-old babysitter with “anger issues” allegedly beating him and throwing him into a wall, according to his family.
Noah Brown is sedated and on life support at the Riley Children’s Hospital, where he has suffered multiple seizures as a result of the Nov. 29 beatdown at his dad’s home in Indianapolis, Fox 59 reported.

Noah’s mom, Michelle Lane, said in an online petition that the babysitter was her ex-husband’s stepson, who was supposed to care for the 3-year-old and his 5-year-old brother.

The babysitter, whose name has not been released, has been charged with aggravated assault, two counts of serious bodily injury to a person under the age of 14 and possession of personal weapons.
(The 12-year-old) has anger issues and Noah started to cry,” Candy King told the outlet. “(He) couldn’t handle it so he beat him with a belt and threw him towards the bed and his head hit the bed frame of the bunk bed.”
The babysitter then rammed Noah’s head into a wall and he collapsed under the bed after trying to get away, she said.

“He has had to be placed in life support and has had a part of his skull removed due to the intensity of his injuries,” Noah’s mom, Michelle Lane, said in an online petition.
“The 12-year-old boy told his biological father that my son was being ‘annoying’ while crying so he hit him with a belt, hit his head on the bunk bed frame and rammed him at a wall,” she wrote.

She said her son has suffered multiple seizures.
“He has a long road to recovery,” Lane told Fox 59. “It’s not guaranteed what his quality of life is going to be but we’re praying and hoping for the best that he comes out just fine.”
Meanwhile, King told McClatchy News that “the doctors are removing the breathing tube and neck brace to see if he can breathe on his own all the way,” adding that “they stopped the sedation medicine (because) they want him to wake up fully.”

There is no law on the age requirement for babysitting a minor in the state of Indiana. We believe there should be an age requirement of 16 years old to babysit any child under the age of 6. As well as the person watching and caring for that child to have no uncontrolled mental health illnesses for safety of the children under the sitters care and the sitter watching that/those children in their care. This also includes close family or friends, whether they believe the minor is able to watch that child or not, the requirement should be 16 years of age. At the age of 16 minors are able to know right from wrong and are old enough for the responsibility of a job legally so this would be considered in the category of working.

@Sugar Cookie - I like the vasectomy idea. I like it a lot. Stop the bullshit before it can start, because clearly this one has much larger issues and doesn't need to dilute the gene pool any with whatever offspring he may produce... ;)
Yeah but he will most likely kill his kid.

I have never in his 6 years of life left my kid with anyone other than a family adult. Yeah I dont go out much, but my kid is fine!

That picture breaks my heart.

Right? I didn't have kids and one the reasons why is that I never found myself in a situation where that life was possible. I wasn't going to have a child just so everyone but me could actually raise said child! ❤

a 3 and 5 years old is a handful for an adult so they should never ever be left with a 12 years old boy in charge period.... i would never have left my 16 years old in charge of my 2 boys they were too much of a handful for that... to a 5 years old a boy of 12 is just a bigger boy and not a figure of authority that is for sure so common sense people .. and it doesn't say for how long that 12 years old was in charge... so i do blame the parents they know their own kids so should have chosen an appropriate sitter....
