Michael O’Callaghan, a homeless man is suing the city of Portland for removing his tent on the Springwater Corridor during a 2016 sweep.

O’Callaghan claims his and other people’s rights are violated by the homeless camp sweeps. He also says enforcing the camping ban is illegal.

A recent ruling against the city of Boise might reinforce O’Callaghan’s claim.

In early September, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals sided with six homeless residents in Boise who sued the city over a local ordinance that banned sleeping in public spaces.

O’Callaghan is seeking $100,000 for suffering and theft of his property.

9th Circuit Court of Appeals:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:may as well call it the Clinton, Obama court, since they own 17 of the 22 judges and everyone knows how they’ll rule before they make the call

Nobody owns judges, and it is not surprising when liberal judges vote in a liberal manner, just as it is not surprising when conservative judges vote in a conservative manner.

But that’s the point, we all know how they’ll vote
It’s a joke, it’s supposed to be the law, not the party vote
We’ll soon have the opposite in the Supreme Court, but I doubt it’ll be as ridiculous as the 9th
