WASHINGTON (TND) — Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is calling for the “formal deprogramming” of “MAGA extremists.”

The comments came during an interview with CNN Thursday, where Clinton addressed “GOP chaos,” former President Donald Trump and the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

“Sadly, so many of those MAGA extremists take their marching orders from Donald Trump who has no credibility left by any measure,” she said. “He’s only in it for himself. He’s now defending himself against civil actions and criminal actions. When do they break with him?”

Clinton continued, calling for formal action against Trump’s most dedicated supporters.

“At some point maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members,” she said. “Something needs to happen."

When asked how she would accomplish such a feat, Clinton stated “we have to defeat them."

Is the article trying to tell us that "Democrats" -
(a group she is not in charge of nor the spokesperson for. In other words, she doesn't speak for Democrats, much as people want to insinuate. That's like believing MTG speaks for Republicans.)
-will be forcibly "deprogramming"-
(does this advanced, secret, deprogramming involve psychological and physical torture, or will this be done by tackling the subject in the street and removing some wiring {or brain portion!}? )
-Trump supporters, Republicans, U. S. citizens?

The missing, explanatory sentence might have supplied the answer whether that's a strategy or a consequence?

I just want to know if they are defeated because of being forcibly deprogrammed or, is the plan,
They will they be defeated first, and then, after being fully subjugated, the deprogramming will begin?

Is the "deprogramming" a war strategy to win,
OR
is it what the victors will force upon the defeated, as either a punishment or compliance measure ?
