Guys he’s a troll- don’t engage it’s what he wants. Ignore him and he will get bored and go away
Fappy is more or less a permanent fixture.
He isn't going anywhere, whether there's engagement with him or not, and we all should be grateful because he is one of the most important members here.
He provides a unambiguous common enemy that unifies us.
In a complex world, he's an easily understood representative of "bad things". This gives us comfort.
He's also a convenient outlet for members. How often do people get the opportunity to be unequivocally "right" and also know we have the full support of EVERYONE?
And he doesn't hold grudges, harass members, or respond with personalized insults. He's not mean. He's very safe.
There's not a single one of us who hasn't thought "Ugh, I wish him and his hate would go away" but we're not seeing the bigger picture.
There's not a chance in hell he's going to persuade a single person that child rape is OK, is there?
It's the subversive purveyors of hate that do it insidiously here, that are alarming and dangerous. The ones who substitute pronouns with derogatory nouns, covertly, hundreds of times, to subliminally insert ugly terms in our minds (Mark of the
Beast describes this phenomenon here, perfectly.)
Compared to that shit, Fappy's a hero.
No one should be discouraged from interacting with him.
Conversely, criticism of those "tricking" members into hate should be supported, but that falls into the "complex, uncontrollable problem" category and is barely recognized, let alone inspirational of the proper outrage it deserves.
As Twain said, it's easier to fool someone than convince them they've been fooled.
But Fappy, he serves an indispensable role, and harms no one. He takes his shits and moves along, he rarely returns them..
