Greenville, Mississippi Woman Arrested For Murder Of 6MO Infant

On Sunday, April 24, 2022, officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to Delta Health System in reference to an unresponsive infant.

Authorities were told that a 6-month-old baby was brought into the Emergency Room to undergo treatment for having water in his lungs.

The infant was flown to another facility for further treatment but succumbed to his injuries two days later.

During the investigation, it was learned that the baby was in the custody of Brandy Richardson.

Autopsy results suggest that the infant’s cause of death was Abusive Head Trauma.

The facts of this case were presented to a Municipal Court Judge, and a warrant was issued for the arrest of Brandy Richardson on Murder charges.

Im posting this to fb bc Greenville police department has my wife locked up for 1st degree murder for baby colton that dhs placed custody of this baby in the hands of people who have a history of child abuse and the baby had bruises on his but when my wife picked him up for the 2nd time since she started getting him the first time the grandmother said it was from the way they held him i have 6 kids and idc how long you hold a baby they dont bruise the father was at a witnesses house calling the grandmother making sure that brandy was otw to pick the baby up and was asking the grandmother to make sure his brother didn't hurt the baby i dont know what happened to this poor baby but i do know that it wasn't hurt at my house the Greenville police has me on recorded statement telling them this and they never investigated it you can read my comment was about the third one on Greenville police departments fb page if you want the whole story but now Greenville police department has shut off all the comments on their page bc everyone that has commented on it is saying that shes innocent (witch she is)right after all this happened the brother skipped town i dont know who did this to to him i do know that these ppl have a long history of child abuse and he had become apart of our family and someone was beating on him and all my wife did was try to help him we was buying everything he needed and Greenville police department should have done their job and dhs should have never given them custody i know my wife is locked up looking at never coming home to her kids for helping these ppl and someone knows something now they have stopped all the comments bc if Brandy Richardson is convicted it fixes their fuck up everyone knows that the baby was around violence you couldn't even raise your voice around him and now the police is making where we can't claim her innocence i know that baby lit up every time he seen her and loved it at our house dhs has been in my house over this baby and closed the case if they even thought there was a possibility of brandy Richardson doing this they would've told us she can't be around her own kids but they didn't for the past year these ppl have been stalking my wife now i read on someone's comment that this isn't the first time they have done this they might block me from saying anything on there page but I will not let them shut me up about this until they do there dam job and find out who was hurting him if i have to get the fbi involved i know my wife is locked up and who ever was beating him is still walking the streets looking for another one to beat on and i wont stop until we have real justice for Colton

His name is Coleton and I wasn't the abuser I was the abused and you need to stop all them lies you don't know me and yall dumped him out like trash never come to the hospital or even called to check on him and he never had a bruise on him no where he wasn't even mobile so how would he get bruised we have videos up till that time and he was happy HealthCare beautiful when he was on his death bed you was cussing him when I was trying to ask your wife what happened stop the lies and the blaming I trusted brandy with my precious baby who couldn't sit up or defend his self and science don't lie somebody over there knows what happened

He was healthy and I have proof of that you need to stop saying all that bs that isn't true and yall never bought him nothing he never went without anything he had everything he needed and then some I understand your looking for a scapegoat but stop the lies

The mother of the deceased child and the husband of Brandy go back and forth.

The husband accuses the mother and those around her of being drug addicts.

The woman was arrested in 2023 and the case remains ongoing.
