Foster Mother Charged In Deaths Of Roseville Twin Boys Who Drowned

The foster mother of Roseville twin brothers who died after drowning in a swimming pool in October 2023 turned herself in to law enforcement on Monday afternoon and is facing charges related to their deaths, according to the Roseville Police Department and the Placer County District Attorney’s Office.

Law enforcement officials told FOX40.com that the warrant for the arrest of Schitara Victoria Page, 37, was issued Thursday and she turned herself in to Roseville Police on Monday.

According to a complaint filed in Placer County Superior Court, Page is facing two charges of “cruelty to child by abuse, neglect or endangering health,” with each count having a special allegation of willful harm or injury resulting in death.

The charges come eight months after the death of 22-month-old twins Legend and Sincere Strong.

Placer County DA Morgan Gire said to FOX40.com, “The counts represent the neglect, the failure to supervise and, ultimately, that resulting in the death of these two very young little boys…”
