Police are searching for a young child seen on video brutally stomping and killing a duck in a Florida resident’s yard, according to authorities and reports.
Disturbing surveillance video released by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department showed two young children running around a duck before one child chased the bird into the paved alleyway of a home Sunday, CBS Miami reported.

The kid stomped on the feathered creature a whopping seven times, killing it, the clip showed.
The Fort Lauderdale homeowner called cops after noticing the juvenile trespassing on his property, and was shocked when he watched the gruesome security footage on his Ring camera, police told WSVN.
Detectives are now seeking help identifying the child and are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

I would have walked outside kicked this little bastard in the nuts and erased the part that showed me doing it.

I have a feeling that either several of his classmates have seen him on the 5 o'clock news and some of them have had trouble with his and his punk ass friends at school. Now is their opportunity to get his ass locked away so the little psycho will never bully them again and get $5,000 doing it.

Police in Fort Lauderdale said they have located the child seen in now-viral video violently stomping on a duck in January, killing the animal.

Police said they began to investigate the disturbing incident on Jan. 18 after a homeowner saw a child cornering, then stomping the wild duck to death on her property via a Ring camera.

Police said they, too, watched the video, and confirmed the homeowner's account.

The investigation has been ongoing ever since, and on Thursday police said they identified the children, as well as their parent.

"The Fort Lauderdale Police Department would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our community for their assistance," police said in a statement.

Police said that they received tips from the public via social media that helped investigators identify "these at-risk juveniles, allowing us to provide intervention along with our partners at the Department of Children and Families."

I sure hope this goes somewhere that deals effectively with the little miscreants.
they seem quite young to me .... maybe it is the parents that should be dealt with effectively... if parents were made to be responsible for the actions of their kids there would be better parenting that is for sure... kids raised in violence most often become bullies, or hurt living things smaller than them .. parents that listens to their kids and talks with their kids most often become problem solvers etc ...

This is the first and last time I will venture into the crimes against animals area. I only looked because of what in the shout box.

I take care of entire flock of moscovy ducks in my complex. Two of which have babies. Made them extra housing for the cold snap we just had. I love these ducks.

I hate this story. I hate crimes against animals in general. This hit me hard as I spend a tremendous amount of time with my duck brigade.
