BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (Gray News) – A man in Florida is accused of assaulting employees at a Subway restaurant over their “bad attitudes.”
According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, 45-year-old Edward Cocaine was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, burglary with assault or battery, and battery.
“And yes, that’s his real name,” Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey wrote in a Facebook post.
Ivey said Cocaine and a friend went to a Subway restaurant for lunch on Wednesday when Cocaine allegedly got into an argument with employees over their “bad attitudes.”
Cocaine allegedly became “so irate” that he went behind the counter and pushed one employee before he picked up a knife and “gestured as if he was going to injure them,” the sheriff said.
Cocaine’s friend tried to intervene and restrain Cocaine, the sheriff said. The friend convinced him to leave the restaurant before anyone got hurt.
