The FBI has come under scrutiny after a leaked document showed the bureau warning that "radical traditionalist" Catholics pose as an extremist threat.

Kyle Seraphin, a former FBI special agent and federal whistleblower, obtained the document from the bureau's field office in Richmond, Virginia, and published it on the UncoveredDC website.

The document is titled "Interest of Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists in Radical-Traditionalist Catholic Ideology Almost Certainly Presents New Mitigation Opportunities."

The FBI in Richmond discusses monitoring Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists (RMVE) and their interests in so-called "Radical-Traditionalist Catholics" or RTCs.

The memo notes that FBI investigations have found that there is a "growing overlap" between the far-right white nationalist movement and RTCs.

The FBI has since confirmed to several news sites that it has removed the document from its systems because it does not meet the "exacting standards of the FBI."

As a former Catholic I have to say this tracks… they are so stuck. Stuck in insane beliefs, holier than thou attitudes and insanely judgmental. When my mom left my drug addicted stepdad after he threatened to kill us our priest told her before mass one day that divorced women can no longer receive communion and are basically not welcome in the church. I can only imagine the attitudes he felt against ever other human being just trying to live their lives….

Traditional Catholics slam ‘appalling’ FBI report linking them to white nationalists

Carol Rhodes, a member of a conservative Catholic media organization based outside Detroit, was shocked recently to learn that her group was one of nine traditional Catholic groups being cited by the FBI as radical and extremist.

“We don’t hate anyone. We’re very peaceful,” Rhodes, a member of the traditional Catholic media site Church Militant, told The Post. “This is America. We have the right to practice our faith. It was really over the top to hear all this. This is crazy and doesn’t make any sense.”

An eight-page dossier leaked by former FBI agent Kyle Seraphin earlier this month indicated that the FBI’s Richmond, Va., office, at the behest of the Department of Justice, was going after “radical traditionalist” Catholics and their possible ties to “the far-right white nationalist movement.”

“The FBI’s Richmond Division would like to protect Virginians from the threat of ‘white supremacy,’ which it believes has found a home within Catholics who prefer the Latin Mass,” Seraphin wrote on Uncoverdc.com, where he leaked the memo.

FBI turns over docs on Catholic ‘extremism’ to Judiciary Committee amid contempt threat

The FBI furnished key files to the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday regarding its work to combat domestic Catholic extremism and an uptick in threats against school administrators.

Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Oh.) subpoenaed the files and threatened to hold FBI director Christopher Wray in contempt if he refused to hand them over. Jordan had given Wray a July 25 deadline.

Now that the bureau has handed over the batch of records, Jordan’s team plans to review the documents and is keeping its options open.

The documents in question reveal details about a Justice Department order for the FBI to probe an alleged “disturbing spike” in threats against school officials amid a wave of conservative backlash in 2021.

They also pertain to a since withdrawn FBI memo that appeared to connect “radical-traditionalist Catholics” with domestic terrorism.

The document is titled "Interest of Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists in Radical-Traditionalist Catholic Ideology Almost Certainly Presents New Mitigation Opportunities."

And apparently someone's doctoral thesis or bulls**t is considered proof of a conspiracy.

It’s the FBI, remember hildabeast was declared innocent before the investigation. Trump was guilty because of a fake dossier paid for by the Clintons and Brandon is free to sell the country to whoever he wants and his dog is allowed to bite anyone that doesn’t kick back money to the family. Let’s not forget BLM and Antifa are not terrorist organizations

Most antifa political activismis nonviolent insofar as the conduct of these activities does not manifest or imply a threat of violence. Some who identify as antifa also combat far-right extremists
