Father Faces Charges After 4YO Dies In Greensboro Hot Car

A 4-year-old girl died last week after being left unattended in a car on a day when temperatures reached about 80 degrees, Greensboro police said.

Her father, Shyheim Deion Moore, 30, has been arrested and charged with felony child abuse.

Authorities said Moore brought his daughter to Moses Cone Hospital on Sept. 24, where she died that night. Police described the death as accidental but preventable.

Moore was arrested Sept. 25 and is being held at Greensboro Jail on a $250,000 bond.
