The teen girl who fatally shot a student and teacher and left two more pupils clinging to life at a private Christian school in Madison, Wis., on Monday has been identified.

Police said Natalie “Samantha” Rupnow, a 15-year-old student at the K-12 Abundant Life Christian School, brought a handgun to campus and opened fire around 11 a.m. inside a classroom during study hall.

The teenage student and teacher were pronounced dead at the scene while another teacher and five more students were wounded. Two of the students are in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said Monday night.

Rupnow sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital, Barnes said.

An alleged manifesto espousing angry, hateful views is circulating online that some social media users claim belonged to Rupnow — but Barnes said police have not yet been able to confirm that document.

“We haven’t been able to verify that it’s authentic, we’re certainly aware that it’s been posted,” he said, adding his department is working with the FBI to investigate the writings.

I saw a post on X (can't find it anymore), this person's ex reached out to the acct. Numerous photos of them together and some other things to verify that that person was who they claimed. He said he and she were both not trans/identified as the gender, they were born. She was very disillusioned with their parents and felt unwanted and unloved by her family. Natalie “Samantha” Rupnow’s page was flagged by the Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism and featured troubling white supremacist phrases, TMZ reported.

The account, operating under the username @targetedbloodsport, contained just two videos referencing the movie Fight Club, including the song played in the closing credits, The Pixies’ “Where is My Mind” as well as a caption, “May I die like how beautiful rain is.”

The bio was just the words “totally nice day” — which the ADL told TMZ is used by racist as “TND,” or “total N-word death.”

The videos were also inundated with disturbing comments soon after the tragic shooting in Madison, Wisconsin, according to the report.

Authorities revealed Wednesday that the gunwoman had a possible accomplice to the massacre, where she used two handguns to open fire and kill substitute teacher Erin West and freshman Rubi Vergara.

Rupnow had been in contact with Alexander Paffendorf, 20, who was planning a coordinated attack targeting a government building in California.

However, I will say, there wasn't a cross post to make this thread come up in the search when you posted your "update". My only issue with you on this forum is you seem to not appreciate or have a care that all this stuff, at the end of the day, is about real people dealing with some of the worst stuff possible. You make it all about you. People connected to these stories are on the internet and search for stuff about their relatives and friends, etc. You may think you're being clever with thread titles calling people a "penis", "vagina", "transformer", or that you found "mug gold", and post victim photos in an almost very exploitive way. However, you are being incredibly insensitive and cruel. At this point I wouldn't expect you to "lower yourself" to my level of caring about people and actually being sensitive and empathetic about how someone directly connected to these articles we talk about might view the words that you use or the photos that you post might feel about it. You and I may have our differences, but I think we both want to make this place a good site. I hate it when others seem to want to egg on rivalries and disputes here.

You have been here long enough to know that none of the language Sugar uses is new. Most of our posters, past and present, aren't exactly what you would call over-empathetic. Or even sensitive, for that matter. As for the pictures she posts, do you not recall a certain OG member photoshopping angel wings on the dead babies from the stories? I don't recall you picking a fight with her at any time. And mug gold? We have an entire thread dedicated to mug gold! Hell, I started the thread, and you never once picked a fight with me. So, hey, maybe you have grown a bit more sensitive, more empathetic, over the years. No problem. Do you. But that doesn't mean anyone else is going to follow your lead. Merge/move in general is correct. That doesn't mean I'm "moaning" about anything. I don't like the somewhat recent trend here of anyone trying to make/suggest changes, or ideas of bettering things as being some whiney enemy of the site.

I never said anyone COULDN'T be a piece of shit on the DD (that's part of it!!), but I will call people out on it, end of story, and I know they aren't going to like it... I did it all the time with Jack, I didn't like that guy. Anyone that might be anyway related to these cases we talk about that might stumble upon this forum deserves as much. I've been a mod, here and elsewhere in the past, it's not a pain in the ass. You can even use AI a bit to help out at this point, even via your phone, if that's how you interact as a mod. If you guys have no intention of addressing any reports, then I'd suggest removing that option. I don't give a shit about any drama. I've put a lot of time, effort, money, etc. into this site because I love it and will always help out in any way I can. I don't ever plan to leave unless Chris asks me to, I've said that before.
