"Authorities arrested 33-year-old Andrew James Treadaway and 42-year-old Sumer Ree Treadaway and charged them both with armed robbery, kidnapping, burglary, motor vehicle theft and aggravated assault.

Officers responded to the 4000 block of Glover Street around 8:00 a.m. in reference to an assault complaint. When officers arrived, they found a 78-year-old woman suffering from serious, but non-threatening injuries.

It was determined through investigation that Andrew and Sumer forcefully entered the home. While in the home, the suspects displayed a knife, then cut her while demanding money. After assaulting the elderly woman, they fled the scene in her car, according to authorities.

Gulfport Police contacted area law enforcement to be on the lookout for the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was located by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the D’Iberville Police Department, while it was occupied by the suspects."

His sentencing is a little confusing

A Gulfport man will spend 30 years in prison as a habitual offender after pleading guilty this week to armed robbery, aggravated assault and burglary.
Andrew Treadaway, 34, pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court and was sentenced by Judge Lisa Dodson.

Treadaway was charged in the October 23, 2020 home invasion. The victim said Treadaway knocked on her door, claiming her was there to return money he had borrowed. When the victim opened the door, Treadaway and his wife, Summer Treadaway, forced their way inside, bound the victim with tape and demanded money.
Treadaway found a knife in the home and cut the victim on the neck and hand.

“After stealing miscellaneous items from the victim, including her television and purse, Treadaway and his wife took the victim’s car and fled. The Gulfport Police Department responded and discovered that Treadaway had attempted to use a stolen debit card in D’Iberville,” said said Assistant District Attorney Jason Josef, who prosecuted the case.

“With this information, a deputy with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department was able to locate Treadaway driving the stolen vehicle on Interstate 10. During the traffic stop, Treadaway and his wife were arrested, and most of the victim’s property was recovered.”
In court, Treadaway said he was high on spice and meth and he planned to sell the stolen items to buy more drugs.

He is currently serving a 16-year sentence for previous burglaries of dwellings that he committed in Biloxi. Dodson sentenced Treadaway to 30 years consecutive to the prior sentences, meaning he will need to complete his prior sentences before beginning these new sentences. Dodson also sentenced Treadaway as a habitual offender, meaning that he will have to serve the 30 years day-for-day without the eligibility of parole or early release.
