So sad and senseless. Like so many, he denied the child medical attention trying to avoid abuse charges, but he's going to end up charged with murder instead. I mean, what did he think would happen when the kid was limp and unresponsive!? Fucking idiot.

It fits for so many crimes we read here on DD. And based on what we read (Cookie’s “No Justice” follow-ups can attest), if he’d just have called for help, even if he did murder the child, he had a decent shot at getting off with little time. But now he’ll rot in prison for (hopefully) the rest of his life.

I’m not blaming the mother but I cannot understand how any mother can leave their babies alone with these good for nothing men anymore. We’ve seen these cases time and time again. It’s always the same situation. I hardly trust daycare centers and babysitters, but to leave a baby alone with a man that’s not the baby’s father, I would never. It just doesn’t add up in my mind.
