David Flores Jr charged with fatally stabbing his father

According to police, officers responded to a home in the 1100 block of Cedar Lane after receiving a report of a dispute at around 11 a.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found 64-year-old David Flores Sr. suffering from trauma to his body. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim's son, David Flores Jr., told police he stabbed his father. He was taken into custody at the scene.

An investigation is underway to determine the motive of this domestic-related stabbing, police say.
