Death, horror, torture
WALWORTH COUNTY (WKOW) -- The Walworth County Sheriff's Office has identified human remains recovered more than seven years ago, as a South Milwaukee man who disappeared in 1998.

The remains were recovered on March 26, 2002 after a hiker discovered them near Alpine Valley, but investigators were only now able to match them to that of Daniel M. Walden.

Walden was reported missing to the South Milwaukee Police Department on December 27, 1998.

Walden, who was 38 at the time he died, was a former Marine. His family tells WISN-TV in Milwaukee they are grieving but relieved after finally finding out what happened to him.

Sorry that his family went through hell those 10.5 years but I'm glad the family can finally get some closure.

Any idea how they managed to match him after all these years? (Not having much luck with the link.)
