Around 11:10 a.m. Monday, a woman, a man and his child were traveling in a vehicle on Olive Street toward South Hague Avenue when someone threw a brick toward their vehicle.
Police said the brick shattered the driver’s side rear window and struck the girl in the head.

The child was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital with serious injuries. Franklin County Municipal Court records stated that the girl suffered a fractured skull and needed surgery to repair it.

Columbus police identified 29-year-old Brandon Roberts as the suspect. He was arrested by Columbus Police SWAT and charged with felonious assault.

Details on what led to the alleged incident were not provided.

A Columbus man will spend at least the next four years in prison after pleading guilty to an incident where he hit a baby in the head with a cinder block.

Brandon Roberts, 30, pleaded guilty last week to one count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony, and was sentenced to four to six years in prison.
Once released from prison, Roberts will be on parole for 1 1/2 to 3 years.

Doesnt seem like a long enough sentence. If hes willing to hurt innocent people, for no reason, then hes a danger to society.

Reminds me of those kids that threw that rock off an overpass and gave a woman permanent brain damage, then her husband had to quit his job to take care of her, and he killed himself.

People who do this are lower than low.
