A Tennessee man who has raised concern in his neighborhood for spray painting "rape kids" on the roof of his house last week, has been arrested over a separate incident.

Darrell Chadima has been charged with filing a false police report about a local sheriff.

Chadima told officers that someone had broken into his house, woke him up and told him "if he didn't stop what he has been doing, they would feed him to the pigs on their farm," according to a Monroe County Sheriff's Office incident report seen by KHOU.

He is known by authorities following a number of concerning incidents, the latest being the signs he erected outside his home. Last month, Chadima put up a sign reading "rape kids" in his yard, along with his phone number.

He has also posted other signs raying "rape your lil girl?" and "rape your child", as well as painting "rape kids" in huge letters on his rooftop.

Monroe County Sheriff's Office said that Chadima has not been arrested for the signs because they are displayed on his own property.

"We can't arrest him for the signs. That's law. I mean he can put a sign up in his yard if he wants to, but ain't nothing nobody can do about it."

Chadima is said to have put up the signs because he was upset that a neighbor had accused him of being a pedophile, rather than advocating for child abuse.

"Mr. Chadima said that he felt like no one would help him, so he placed the signs up with his phone number listed on them, and if anything had a question about him they could call the number," the incident report said. "Mr. Chadima said that he wants to help children and has helped children."

Chadima posted photographs of the signs onto social media, as well as making reference to the man who he claims entered his home.

"I have been told by one of the most respected men in Monroe County I quote if I don't stop this he will feed me to the pigs on his farm," Chadima wrote on February 28, prior to his arrest.

Williams said Chadima indicated the sheriff himself was the man he claims broke in and threatened him.

"The sheriff was at home in bed asleep with his wife when it happened," Williams said.

Other previous incidents involving Chadima include telling his neighbors how he raped a girl, without specifying when or where.

Chadima also said that he raped his neighbor's son in the past. The deputy who arrested Chadima said he referred the matter to the Department of Children's Services.

An apostrophe like this : kids'- shows ownership. One like this: kid's- is a hyphenated form of kid is. So it makes even less sense lol.
 
Monroe County prosecutors have dropped charges against a Madisonville man who wrote "rape kids" and his home phone number on the roof of his ranch-style home in March, the Monroe County Clerk's Office confirmed.

In an interview Tuesday with 10News, Darrell Chadima said he wrote the message as a cry for help after people in the community falsely accused him of being a pedophile and threatened his life.

"I put those signs up as a scream for help to this community to help me before somebody killed me. And it worked," Chadima said of the chalk message. "Everybody around here called me and I got to explain my story to them. Those signs saved my life."

Chadima was held for more than a month and a half without bond on a late-February charge of filing a false report, records show. During that time, the California native said people vandalized his home and stole valuable tools.

He wasn't charged in connection with the roof message. The act, however, upset and concerned neighbors.

Chadima faced the false reporting charge after he reported someone within the Sheriff's Office broke into his house, woke him up and told him "if he didn't stop what he has been doing, they would feed him to the pigs on their farm," an incident report said.

Chadima denies the responding deputy's conclusion that he was accusing the sheriff himself of harassing him.

"Come on! That’s a joke," Chadima told WBIR.

"The charges were dismissed because they were both fabricated," Chadima said.

A stack of Monroe County Sheriff's Office incident reports show an ongoing back-and-forth between Chadima and neighbors. At one point, he filed a report complaining his neighbors accused him of raping an underage girl.

The report said Chadima admitted to raping a girl and his neighbor's son in the past. Chadima insists he never said that.

"I never admitted to nothing, I never did nothing like that," he said. The Sheriff's Office said Chadima was not listed in any sex offender database.

I'm Darrell chadima I still live at same address and have come here to tell my side of this any questions call xxxx. This all started with 2 17 year old young men Robbie little and James Larson. They came to my home I am 55 single vision fighting lupus and arthritis and brain injury. James tried to choke me out and Robbie watched I gained control and ran them off James lost his phone in fight they came back when I was gone broke in stole a few items and got his phone. I pressed charges and immediately had problems with detective I found out later they had a hearing and did not subpoena me and dropped charges how's that happen. These boys and jj lott a woman living down the road friends with the 2 young men began posting pics of me saying I raped kids and sold drugs. They began telling my neighbors that I raped kids police would do nothing neighbors come over to ask me if I raped a girl I told them that was a lie bring the girl. People around here began threatening Me the police lied and said I raped some kids i went crazy a Yankee in east tenn alone they tried to get rid of me because I wanted a new hearing which I was denied for the assault and burglary charges they made up ridiculous charges for retaliation for past actions and filing false police report I did not do either charge and the sherrif made up story about accusing him I never did that I did not even know him and he did not match description of the person it's all on record they held me in jail for 2 months allowed my home to be robbed my truck stolen house broken into and cleaned out all while my 2 neighbors called it in and no one came. They sent me to maucossin bend cut me off medicine I needed and put me on some mean nasty drugs I refused treatment and they could not hold me I went back to jail held with no access to money and alone. The sheriff got on Chanel 10 wibr here in Knoxville and told complete lies about me raping kids and selling drugs to the high school all lies lies lies I got out of jail only to find home robbed and these lies on TV about me I knew nothing about until I got out of jail
I immediately called tv station to demand retraction they did sn interview with me it's on wibr Chanel 10 they cut out alot of it and edited it but I got to proclaim my innocence. All charges dropped no kids were ever found. I put signs up to attract media and attention to myself so I would not dissappear I was desperate scared for my life alone and out of my mind crazy!!! I was badly abused as a child and to be accused of this was too much and broke me. I have never harmed a kid in my life I put signs out to allow anyone I may have harmed to come forward and there were no accusations made towards me by anyone because it was all lies. I am still here and still standing because of my bossJESUS I DID NOT RUN OR HIDE I AM STILL LIVING IN SAME HOUSE. WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO ME HERE IS YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE!!!!

Sounds like you been up against it, Darrell. I did something that will hopefully keep you from being up against it again.

Posting your telephone number on a web site is generally held to be A Bad Idea. That is why I deleted it from all your posts.
