A California woman was filmed riding on a Bay Area commuter train with her hair on fire on Tuesday.

The brief clip posted to TikTok begins on a BART train as flames shoot from the woman’s head.

“Your hair is on fire!” a man shouts.

The woman, who is standing up, starts shrieking and falls into her seat as another rider tries to pat out the blaze.

The fire is put out quickly, but fills the train car with smoke.

“What the f–k, man!” another passenger shouts.

The alarming scene took place at the El Cerrito del Norte Station around 5 p.m. Tuesday evening, BART officials told the San Francisco Chronicle.

The mass transit agency said the woman in the video never reported the incident to the BART Police Department — though a station agent did call the police, reporting “a woman who apparently set her own hair on fire,” BART said.

“At this time BPD has not received any information indicating this was any sort of assault committed by another rider,” BART spokesperson Jim Allison told the outlet.

Really?
If thats true its good it was her own hair and not someone elses.

Probably the hair product she put on her hair and someone brushed past her with a lit cigarette, just think how long her hair could have smoldered until it got big enough to be noticed. Then she just slipped away home having had all the attention she could stand for one day. Poor Lady.
