Brandon Littke Threw 2 Kittens From Moving Car, Running Over & Killing One

Brandon Lee Dwayne Littke, 25, has been charged with abandoning two kittens at a gas station in Detroit, throwing them from a moving vehicle, and then driving over one of the animals.

The incident, which happened at about 11:30 a.m. April 21 at a gas station on West Seven Mile Road, was partially recorded on security video. The charges allege that Littke threw two kittens out of a moving vehicle and then ran over one of the kittens, killing that animal, before fleeing the scene.

"No living being should ever be thrown from a moving vehicle. Ever. Does this really need to be said? The alleged actions of the defendant in this case are criminal and not acceptable on any level," Worthy said in her statement.

A man has been charged with dumping two kittens at a gas station, and then driving over one of the animals.

Although one of the kittens died, the other was rescued thanks to a woman named Yolibeth Delfin.

She was pumping gas and heard the kitten’s cries from behind an ice cooler.

Delfin took the kitten to a friend’s home, which cares for cats. They fed and washed the animal and then took him to Michigan Humane.

She and her partner want to adopt the kitten they named “Diesel” from the gas station where it was found.

But first, Michigan Humane needs to finish the investigation.

When I was but a 23 year old, I worked for the answering service for Multnomah County Animal Control. They didn't have the resources to do anything about uninjured animals after hours. The poor kid that called in about an abandoned kitten at a truck stop was so allergic that he could barely breathe. So when I got off work at 11:15 PM I drove the 23 miles to where the kitten was so I could help the poor dude out. The kitten was tiny. He fit in the palm of my tiny hand. He couldn't have been more than four weeks old. Turned out he was a Maine Coon. He was 22 pounds when he died years later. I still miss my Trucker...

A good Samaritan, Yolibeth Delfin, intends to give the surviving cat (dubbed Diesel) a forever home as soon as he is available for adoption from Michigan Humane.

A whole 2 years - he will still be a piece of shit because he was convicted of robbery in 2018 and paroled in January 2025 and went on to kill a kitten.
