The Democratic mayor of Boston has sparked outrage after inviting city councilors to a holiday party intended only for 'electeds of color.'

Michelle Wu's invitation for the December 13 'Electeds of Color Holiday Party' appeared to have been sent out to all councilors in error by her aide, Denise DosSantos.

DosSantos followed up the email 15 minutes later apologizing for the invite, clarifying that it was only meant for the city's six councilors of color. The seven white council members were not welcome.

'I wanted to apologize for my previous email regarding a Holiday Party for tomorrow,' DosSantos, a black woman, wrote. 'I did send that to everyone by accident, and I apologize if my email may have offended or came across as so. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.'

There was no apology for actually planning to host a racially segregated party. Wu was slammed by outgoing City Councilor Frank Baker, who told the Boston Herald that it was 'unfortunate and divisive.'

The move quickly divided Boston's city council, with some saying they were not offended by the party while others questioned Wu's judgement.

Wu was elected Mayor of Boston in November 2021, becoming the city's first female and first Asian American mayor.

Michael McCormack, an attorney and former five-term Boston city councilor, said Wu's hosting an exclusive party is not typical of her office, and argued former mayors Tom Menino and Ray Flynn would have invited the entire chamber.

'The problem is that Boston and race, unfortunately, are synonymous,' McCormack said.

Accidentally on purpose? just to start some shit, cause it ain't Christmas unless everybody is at each throats and the fur is flying.

Oh just think what would have happened if the Mayor had only invited the white electeds. :hungover:

Things are fine. America is fine. We're all just fine... :finger:

How much hate do you carry in your heart when you plan a party that excludes the majority of the council based on the color of their skin? I mean that's what every white person gets accused of these days for having ancestors that happened to be alive in 1865 (in MA and IL for me, nowhere NEAR the Deep South) Now what Ms. Wu?

First lady Jill Biden was blasted Wednesday night after posting a video to X showing dancers tapping around the holiday-decorated White House, whose theme this year is "Magic, Wonder and Joy."

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the first lady shared the video from the official @FLOTUS account, along with the caption.

"A bit of magic, wonder, and joy brought to you by the talented tappers of Dorrance Dance, performing their playful interpretation of The Nutcracker Suite. Enjoy!" the first lady's post read.

But social media observers didn't seem to be enjoying the musical content.

I wonder how much of my tax dollars went to this?

Jill Biden's White House Christmas video is slammed as 'bizarre, freaky and absolute garbage'

First Lady Jill Biden's efforts at spreading some Christmas joy have been met with derision and astonishment from many who have labeled her celebratory video as 'bizarre' 'freaky' and 'absolute garbage.'

Right-wing blogger Ian Miles Cheong said that Dr. Biden's 2023 efforts were gave off a 'Hunger games aesthetic.' Anti-vax activist Alex Rosen chimed in saying: 'The second hand embarrassment is off the charts.'

'This should've come with a sensitivity label. This is horrendous,' wrote the infamous Libs of TikTokaccount. 'ABSOLUTE GARBAGE,' was another person's opinion.

'It's a mentally ill Christmas at the Biden White House,' comedian Tim Young tweeted. 'You are so strange. Bizarre. Freaky,' said another person.

Conservative activist Brigitte Gabriel said: 'Children should not be watching this smut.'

'Desperately pandering. SO.MUCH.CRINGE,' wrote another user.

'The only thing missing was Dylan Mulvaney!!!,'

The Manhattan-based dance company featured in the White House’s annual Christmas video Thursday endorses discredited “antiracism” activists and radical left-wing causes, including prison abolition and defunding law enforcement.
First lady Jill Biden shared Dorrance Dance’s “playful interpretation of The Nutcracker Suite” on X Thursday, which was widely panned for its “Hunger Games” and “Clockwork Orange” aesthetic.
While the tap routine appeared apolitical, the dance troupe’s website is anything but – promoting far-left policies that are even out of step with the Biden administration.

“I am a white tap dancer with Black cultural ancestors in a society that privileges white people and whiteness,” Michelle Dorrance, the company’s founder, writes in a note on the troupe’s website titled, “Why antiracism work is important to me.”
“I am easy for white audiences wanting to access and experience elements of Black culture to swallow. My whiteness is the reason you may have heard of me before two of my inspirations,” she adds, referencing two contemporary black tap dancers, Ayodele Casel and Dormeshia.

“It is imperative for me, and those who look like me, to acknowledge that. It is imperative for us to fight against racist norms that have defined American culture since its very origin.”
The comprehensive “antiracism” section of Dorrance Dance’s website includes links to numerous far-left organizations, such as Black Lives Matter and INCITE! Women of Color Against Violence — the latter group trumpets the antisemitic slogan, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free!” on its website.
Dorrance Dance encourages visitors to “get involved in abolition work” linking to essays titled, “What Is Prison Abolition?” and “How I Became a Police Abolitionist.”

The prison abolition movement considers immigrant detention centers, city and county jails and state and federal prisons, “social evils” that “must be eradicated.”
The website also directs users to organizations promoting the so-called “defund the police” movements in New York, San Diego, Minneapolis and Dallas.

There are links to several petitions, including one that reads, “DEFUND AND REDISTRIBUTE NYPD FUNDING BY $500 MILLION,” sponsored by the NYC Wealth Distribution Project.
Another petition demands that Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and the Justice Department “free every black person incarcerated on marijuana related charges” – which President Biden has notably refused to do.

In the “Educate Yourself” section of the site, Dorrance Dance promotes the New York Times’ discredited “1619 Project,” which falsely claims that the American Revolution was fought largely to preserve slavery.

Wow, that's destiny.
The Post's video calls it's aesthetics "from Hunger Games", and I just started rewatching the movies yesterday.
The 2023 one is quite decent, but it has this dumb, annoying bimbo from new Snow White garbage

P. S this weird, redhead girl that makes very long podcasts, said that "evil, mysoginist men attacked Jennifer Lawrence for being not thin enough"
I mean, for real.
I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure that it's a girly thing, like "I'm not like other girls"

OK, I forced myself to watch at least a few seconds of this monstrosity. At the end all I can say is that much like when I was 20-21 and watch The Doors movie stone cold sober, at the end I felt high AF. That's how this made me feel, but not in a good way, like The Doors movie did, but rather in an icky, violated way... Thanks Dr. Jill? :yuck:
