BLM Leader Turns Against Dems Over ‘Racist’ Policies, Backs Trump for President: ‘We’re Not Stupid’

A Black Lives Matter (BLM) leader threw his support behind former President Donald Trump in the 2024 race for the White House, accusing Democrats of racist policies that are working against the black community.

Mark Fisher, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Rhode Island, joined “Fox & Friends” to discuss why some black voters are leaving the Democratic Party as they contemplate whom they will vote for in the 2024 presidential election.

“It’s the duplicity of the Democrats, the hypocrisy,” Fisher told Lawrence Jones on Tuesday. “We’re not stupid. The brothers are not stupid. We understand when someone’s for us and when someone is not, and it’s obvious that the Democratic Party is not for us.”

“The policies actually strike at the heart of the black family and the nuclear family,” he continued.

Fisher argued that Democrats “don’t value” the black vote during an interview with “The Kim Iversen Show” earlier this month while praising Trump for advocating policies to uplift the community.

“We’ve been used and abused for so long by that party, they don’t value our vote,” Fisher said. “Their policies are basically racist policies. I believe it’s a racist party. Donald Trump is just the opposite. He’s going to tell you how it is. He’s going to give it to you straight.”

A New York Times/Siena College poll this month rang alarm bells for Democrats after it found that Trump had reached an unprecedented level of support from black voters in battleground states that President Biden won in 2020.

I don't get the whole "I only vote... (pick your poison)" I also don't understand why Black folks think that Dems have been so helpful for them. I know it goes back to the first Daley in Chicago with the "Greens"... going South and telling the residents there to come to Chicago and they would have apartments and schools and .... Yeah, the project houses they were placed in were horrible.

Why anyone believes political promises is a mystery to me, they, all of them, promise the moon until they get elected and then you find out the moon is not even a Blue Moon beer, it's usually nothing and then they blame everybody else because they can't fulfill their promises. Like that $2000 that folks in Georgia was supposed to get if the running Democrat was elected, well he was elected I still ain't seen no $2000.

Been trying to figure out why I am expected to vote democratic. Have been trying to figure out why an entire race is expected to vote democratic other than that party has the word 'democratic' in its name. At that point, start your own party! We could start the FUBU party!

And when you get the Clintons and Biden heading to black churches (not white churches except for campaign worship), talk in tongues (i.e. Ebonics), promise everything, deliver nothing...

Not expecting much from any politician but my spider sense goes off anytime DFL politicians open their mouth.
