Since you can tell this is generational stupidity all living under one roof the parents should get feet in their asses too.

A 5-month-old boy died after he was injured by a dog in an Ormond Beach home on Wednesday, according to the Volusia Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Mike Chitwood said a young couple left their baby in the care of family members while they went out to dinner to celebrate the mother’s 21st birthday.

The boy was left in the care of his great-grandmother and great-aunt.

While taking care of the boy, they decided to put him in a bedroom and locked the door.
Chitwood said the great-aunt let her three dogs out of their cage while she and the great-grandmother went to the kitchen to prepare food.

The family then discovered that the bedroom door, where the boy had been, was open.

Once the great-grandmother entered the room, she saw their biggest dog, a 130-pound Great Dane and Husky mix, sitting next to the boy.

The boy was bleeding and seemed lifeless, according to Chitwood.
The parents rushed back home and took the boy to the hospital. However, deputies said the boy died from his injuries despite lifesaving efforts.

Volusia County Animal Services has taken possession of the dog - who after a ten day hold will probably be euthanized.
