A baby found unresponsive and severely injured in Bloomfield on Tuesday has died.

Pittsburgh police announced the baby’s death on Sunday morning. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office says the 4-month-old boy died Saturday afternoon.

On Tuesday, Pittsburgh police charged Seth Williams, 28, with aggravated aggravated assault for accusations he beat Micaiah and his 4-year-old twins.

Micaiah was transferred to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where a Child Advocacy Center doctor noted that he had “four distinct skull fractures,” bruising, dead brain tissue, additional broken bones and several other severe injuries.

The doctor told police that the baby was unlikely to survive, and that the injuries could not have come from a fall.
Ms. Ostruh told police that she and Williams have three children together — Micaiah and 4-year-old twins. She said she left the children with Williams Monday when she went to work and that they were all in good health, but that Williams called her later and said the twins had upended the bassinet holding Micaiah and that the baby had fallen, according to the criminal complaint.

She went home and “found the house in disarray,” police said. She went to Target to get medicine and then treated Micaiah throughout the night, but his condition worsened. The next morning, she walked to West Penn with Micaiah, but before she arrived the baby became unresponsive and stopped breathing, she said.
Williams’ father, identified in the criminal complaint as “Witness #1,” told police his son called him Monday and asked him to take the children because they were acting up. When he got to the apartment, he found broken glass on the floor and a door that had been pulled off the hinges and had holes in it.

Williams told his father the twins caused the damage, but Williams’ dad told police “there was no way that two four-year-old kids could do that much damage,” according to the criminal complaint.
The twins also showed signs of abuse, police said.

“Witness #1 said he then spoke to the (twins) and asked them what happened. Witness #1 said that Victim #2 told him that his/her dad, Seth punched him/her in the head and that his/her head hurts,” the complaint reads. The other twin said Williams threw him/her across the room.
Police went to the apartment to collect evidence. While they were there, detectives learned that Williams was hiding in the basement, police said. They arrested Williams on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear and probation violations.

He seriously said that 2 four year olds pulled a door off the hinges? He should be beat to death for beating his precious babies, revived and then beat again just for being so damned stupid.

He called his father to ask him to take the children as they were acting up! No, it was him, he was acting up, putting holes in walls and ripping the door from its hinges! Then he try’s to lay the blame on the children! Two 4 year old children!!

yes it was the 2(8) y.o going acting like a spoiled 2y.o. throwing the tantrum of all tantrum that caused all that damage and beat the shiit out of the other kids in the house including a wee baby ... makes you wonder how many other times he threw a tantrum and hurt someone that was reported .. i can't see an adult out of the blues one day snapping like that.... there must have been red flags that were ignored and therefor giving permission to repeat and repeat as no consequences to his bad behavior.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ....
