3MO Mississippi Boy Dies After Being Found With ‘Apparent Head Injury’

Zachary Wells, 32, is accused of murdering an infant in Lee County, Mississippi.

Deputies and medics responded to a home on March 11 and found 3-month-old Asher Wells unconscious with an apparent head injury, the sheriff announced.

Medics airlifted the child to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

The child died on March 13.

The investigation led to Wells’ capital murder arrest on April 7.

Hims was a cutie! He was the kind of baby that looks exactly the same for life. I'm one of those babies too. My face has barely changed since birth, aside from the freeways sized laugh lines that is. It's weird to see it instantly in a face I've never seen before. Poor little booger. I hope Mississippi has the DP. What am I thinking, of course MS has the DP, it's one of the things that I loved about the South. Anyway, I hope they go for it in this case...
